Nestled among the sandy dunes of Fort Morgan, this spacious escape boasts incredible Gulf views and an unbeatable location just steps from the beach (by way of a direct walking path). Spend your days fishing, sunbathing, or swimming in the crystal waters, and then indulge in complete modern comfort back at home. Boat rentals, local charter services, and waterfront dining can be found right across Fort Morgan Road and the Fort Morgan State Historic Site is less than two miles away. From here, you can catch the ferry over to Dauphin Island. Gulf Shores and Destin area attractions are about 20 miles east.

You'll find plenty of areas for family gatherings both inside and outside the home.

The shaded deck underneath the home sets the stage for coastal cookouts while the covered porch comes furnished for leisurely outdoor lounging.

Inside, ample windows, vaulted ceilings, and an open-concept layout create a bright and inviting ambiance that sets the perfect tone for your stay. A full kitchen and comfortable living area provide plenty of convenience for family-style meal planning and space for everyone to spread out after days of sun and fun. Everyday essentials include central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

Spring break

We were moved to this house after our initial booking was put up for sale by the owner. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was decently stocked and plenty of parking for us and the family in the other side. Just a short walk and you are at the pool/hot tub or the beach. The launch for the ferry is just up the road and you can watch the ships coming in and out of the bay from the back deck.

Quiet and peaceful beach house

Overall, we loved our stay at Sandy Feet! Our favorite part was that our beach access butts up against the Fort Morgan park so there’s not houses or development annd our dog could run around on the park beach without having to worry other people. Benefits: - TVs in every bedroom for when you need some alone time - large couch - beautiful views of nature from the deck - covered grill and carport - can connect with other side of duplex if you have two families vacationing together - beach path is right outside the door - pool is just down the block - Tacky Jacks and the various stores at the marina are across the Highway. Things to be aware of: - the house is pretty limited in amenities, so you’ll need to bring your own hairdryer, dish sponges and soap, koozies, and extra blankets. Also, you need hair conditioner, since they only supply shampoo, bodywash, and lotion. - As others have noted, there are snakes in the dunes, so watch where you walk when you go outside, especially if you have a dog. The ones we saw wanted no more to do with us than we did with them, but that might be a different story if we accidentally surprised one. - the beach path is a workout. Shouldn’t be an issue for the able-bodied, but could be challenging for small children or folks with mobility issues. Luckily, there’s a board walk in the neighborhood that you can get to via the streets, which is a longer but easier walk. Rent a fishing cart if you’ve got a lot of stuff.
