🏔️ Nestled in the heart of Chalet Village, this enchanting 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation home is a mountain lover's dream! Conveniently located to downtown Gatlinburg, Ober Mountain Ski Resort, the majestic National Park & Dollywood, there's no shortage of fun and exciting things to do! This condo is perfect for your family, including everything you will need for your vacation. Enjoy your evening meal or a family game at our dining table with seating for 6. A washer and dryer are supplied for your convenience; no more worries about piles of dirty clothes when you get home. The family room has a queen sofa sleeper, oversized comfy armchairs, a TV and a cozy relaxing fireplace. The family room opens to the balcony, offering amazing views where black bears are often seen roaming in their natural habitat. Our luxurious master suite has an incredibly comfortable king bed, private bathroom, a smart TV and your own entrance to the balcony! You will find a pack n play in the closet. The second bedroom is adorable with a bear theme and offers a queen bed, a smart TV and a second full bathroom in the hallway. The hallway door can be closed off from the main living area so guests can enjoy a second suite. In the second bedroom closet you will find our portable baby bed. Gatlinburg is home to Hard Rock Cafe, TGIF, Corky's BBQ along with some great local restaurants. The largest shark tunnel Aquarium, Ripley's Aquarium is a must see. Gatlinburg is also home to a large craft zone featuring mountain artists, sculptor's and other artisans who have lived in these mountains for generations.

There are zip lines, nearby whitewater rafting, great hiking, golf, outlet mall shopping, and Gatlinburg even has even its own ski resort; Ober Mountain, complete with a tram connecting downtown to the ski resort.

A perfect spot to relax

We had a great time staying at Alpine Bear! The place is very cozy and the perfect spot to relax. It was neat and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Its proximity to downtown Gatlinburg is a major plus, as there are plenty of activities and attractions nearby to keep you entertained. Highly recommended for a fun and relaxing getaway!

Outstanding Retreat!

We enjoyed a week at the condo, which is just perfection! The location is great, beautiful views all the way up and at the condo itself. We have rented many vacation homes, but hosts Brien and Jennifer have furnished this home so well for the six guest capacity. The dining room table seats six, the living room seats six, and the patio seats six. This is such a well thought out and impactful plus. We spent hours on the patio every day watching for bears. While we did not see any during our stay, I can’t say enough about the size of the patio and the blissful comfort of the furniture out there. I, like many, have a high stress job, and the fact I never took my work laptop out of the bag says it all. I was so relaxed and content, I got to truly unwind and enjoy the Smoky Mountain peace. The most difficult part of our stay was packing the car to go. While we were sad to leave, we are already planning our next trip to this delightful condo. It truly is a retreat!

Solid Pick

The property is equipped with everything you need ( literally everything). We loved the decor and attention to detail throughout the property. It is located in the upper portion of the mountain which was a bit nerve wrecking driving up, but it was worth the drive! The peace and quiet in this location was awesome! Jennifer was hands down one of the best host I have worked with. Our experience was great overall. My only downfall is the close proximity to neighbors, but this is not a deal breaker as the patios are very spacious. We enjoyed our stay, and I need details on the mattress in the master bedroom! It was soooo comfy!

Nice Condo

This condo was very nice and clean. We watched bears play in the back yard. Very curvy roads getting there and our gps never took us the same way twice. We enjoyed our stay very nice owners we would recommend!

My husband and I love to travel and explore new places. We live in Louisiana and visit the Smoky Mountains often. We enjoy hiking, snorkeling, walks on the beach, and hitting the open rode in our Jeep! We love spending time with our grandson and showing him the world!

We purchased our home because we fell in love with it as soon as we walked through the doors. We knew it would be the perfect home to create many wonderful memories with our children and grandchildren! We enjoy spending our evenings on the peaceful, quiet and charming balcony watching for the Mama bear and her cute baby cubs and all the other wildlife come out to play. We have a wonderful time getting out and exploring the many trails and sights the Smoky Mountains has to offer. We enjoy finding new places to explore on our trips.

3 Amazing Mountain Clubhouses.
Upper Alpine Clubhouse is located on Upper Alpine within walking distance. The pool deck offers shade and sunshine, a view of the ski slopes, a 20×40 pool that's 3 ft – 8 ½ ft, a wading pool deep enough for little ones, a cascading rain drop umbrella adds to the fun. A game room with a pool table, foosball, air hockey, video game, chess and checkers. This facility is closed for maintenance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 1151 UPPER ALPINE RD.

South Baden Clubhouse is just steps away from Ober Gatlinburg. Get an all-day wristband and spend the day going back and forth without having to leave our scenic mountain top or dealing with traffic! The Clubhouse features a 58,000-gal swimming pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes and a kid’s playland for children 12 and under. Meeting rooms are available for reunions, groups and retreats for an additional fee. The Clubhouse has pool tables, ping pong, foosball, checkers, chess and video games. A small work out room with a gym and other equipment will help you stay in your exercise routine. This facility is closed on Tuesdays for maintenance.

North Clubhouse is located on the corner of Wiley Oakley and Village Loop. North clubhouse offers three swimming pools, lighted tennis courts, paved walking trail, ping pong, foosball, and yard games. North Clubhouse is closed Wednesdays for maintenance. The North tennis courts open year-round. If your day is full, try playing an evening game, the lights for the courts are on timers until midnight. Bring your own tennis equipment or use ours during open hours. A private banquet room is available at an additional charge for gatherings, meetings, wedding receptions and events! 705 VILLAGE LOOP RD.

*Chalet Village Pool hours are 9:00am – 9:00pm. Drinks and concessions are available for purchase; you 're welcome to bring your own, NO glass containers. Changing rooms and showers are available. Bring your towels.
