In 2020, my wife and I embarked on a journey to make Truckee our home, and after years of living in a camper, countless sacrifices, and penny-pinching, we found ourselves standing in front of this beautiful cabin, our dream realized.

This cabin isn't just a structure; it's a testament to the builder's passion, a home where he poured his heart into every detail. The separate unit on the garage floor offers a retreat for grandparents or anyone seeking solitude amidst the tranquility of nature. And oh, the views! Majestic mountains, towering trees, and the soothing embrace of nature surround us, inviting you to pause and marvel.

Inside, you'll discover inviting spaces tailored for family and friends to gather. The loft, a hub of laughter and friendly competition, beckons with games and Netflix marathons. The kitchen, a place where culinary magic happens, is adorned with warmth and the aroma of shared meals. Sink into the plush leather couch by the crackling fire, or step out onto the deck and witness the sun painting the sky as you sip your morning coffee—a moment of serenity that sets the tone for a perfect day.

After a delightful breakfast, the adventure begins just steps away. Truckee Treasure

Our stay at the cabin was so perfect! We stayed for the month of July with family and friends joining us throughout. The cabin is well appointed with anything and everything you would want or need. Loved the decor, and attention to detail. Chargers on every nightstand, bathroom amenities, fancy coffee maker that I must buy when I get home. Everything was spotless and meticulously labeled. There is a large tv room perfect for movies, the kitchen is great and open to a living room so you can visit while cooking. The deck is the best! We ate almost every meal outside because the views and temperature are so inviting. Two fire tables add to the enjoyment. A soak in the hot tub is soothing and oh what a show the stars put on! Not only is staying inside the cabin a dream, the owners also provide equipment for outdoor adventures. Inflatable paddle boards, rafts, beach chairs, kayak, beach umbrella and blankets. I couldn’t believe it was all for guests. We had so much fun playing in the lakes and rivers. In addition to the place being so ideal, the owners are incredible. Always available to answer questions. Happy to offer suggestions and genuinely interested in our comfort and enjoyment of the house and the Truckee area. Don’t think twice, this place is golden!!

Fate brought us together in sunny California, where we fell madly in love and have cherished eight wonderful years of marriage. We are passionate about life's simple joys - whether it's hiking through nature's wonders, savoring delectable sushi, indulging in movie marathons, or casting our lines while fishing in serene waters. Our little family is completed by our two adorable French Bulldogs, Sushi Roll and Meatloaf, who bring endless laughter and joy into our lives.

Plus, the convenience of stepping out and exploring nature is unmatched. Just a stroll away, you can find yourself in the embrace of Tahoe National Forest, or if you fancy a water adventure, grab the kayak and head down to the lake. Our property is not just a place to stay; it's a gateway to unparalleled comfort, entertainment, and the natural wonders of the surrounding landscape, making it a standout choice for an unforgettable getaway.
