The Hemingway, 2bd Bayview Elegance & Heated Pool

Summary:
Welcome to The Hemingway, a cultured experience. Our suite has access to resort amenities like a heated pool, bar & grill, and outdoor fitness center. The artfully designed condo also has a private balcony overlooking the water, two queen beds in private rooms with their own Roku TVs, and a full kitchen with basic spices & oils. The experience includes a cocktail cart, popcorn maker, and Hemingway's short stories to enjoy while sipping your coffee on the peaceful balcony!

The Space:
The Hemingway is a 1 bedroom condo on the 3rd floor (elevator access) with 2 beds for up to 4 guests. It's a full apartment with a bathroom, kitchen, and private balcony. Free parking (Trailers, boat, jet ski are prohibited on the property) & Wi-Fi with your stay. Please note, a rental agreement will need to be signed and an ID will need to be provided. The Hemingway experience includes:

MASTER BEDROOM
- Queen bed with a 12-inch mattress
- 43-inch Roku TV
- Plenty of luxury-grade sheets, towels, hand towels, and pillows
- Two breakfast trays for meals, cocktails, or coffee in bed

BATHROOM
- Tub & shower
- Extra bath & hand towels
- Soap, shampoo, & conditioner
- Emergency medical kit
- Starter pack of toiletries
- Toilet paper & extra toilet paper

MAIN ROOM
- The main room hosts the second bed, a queen canopy bed with beautiful white sheets draped over and a tropical jungle wall up the back
- Our jungle mural from wall to wall, imported from Turkey and handcrafted by an artist
- Writers desk & our vintage typewriter
- Faux leather reading chair and a copy of Hemingway's famous short stories
- A telescope to view the stars at night
- A yoga mat & dumbbells (2) for morning workouts

KITCHEN & COCKTAIL BAR
- Full kitchen with wraparound breakfast bar
- All kitchen supplies including plates, bowls, silverware, knife set, pots & pans, etc.
- Vintage movie theater popcorn maker, a variety of kernels, and a selection of gourmet popcorn seasonings (subject to availability)
- Seasoning rack and olive oils for cooking (subject to availability)
- Snacks upon arrival & complimentary waters (subject to availability)
- Full cocktail bar set including our mixology guide & custom-made Hemingway glasses
- Cuisine art coffee maker (2 in 1- kcups or ground coffee), unique coffees, and an electric tea kettle. A French press is also available

THE BALCONY
- Private, furnished balcony with a view of the bay
- Leave space for Hemingway, he loves his champagne while watching the dolphins and the sunset

Please tell us in advance if you need any of the below and we will do our best to accommodate:
- Extra bed (queen air mattress)
- Baby crib (pack n play is in the unit)
- Birthday and/or romantic decorations
- Any food or beverage items in the fridge prior to arrival

PLEASE NOTE:
- The toiletries, paper towels, toilet paper, and coffee if provided should last 3-5 days depending on consumption. Additional supplies may be available conditionally, but we cannot guarantee anything. If you run short, there are plenty of nearby stores to purchase more supplies!
Laundry Access: The guest laundry room, equipped with washers and dryers, is conveniently located on the same floor as the elevator. It’s a 24-hour coin-operated facility situated on level 3 of the building, ready for your use anytime. Card payment also accepted.
TV Services: Some TVs don’t have cable but support streaming—feel free to log in with your own accounts!
- PESTS: While we regularly treat all of our homes for pests, it’s not uncommon to see pests because of the heat including cockroaches, ants, and spiders. Unfortunately, we don’t offer refunds for this, though we’re happy to come by as soon as possible if pests are spotted.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire resort and its amenities. Free parking (trailers or campers NOT allowed) comes with the reservation and a pass will be provided to the guest upon arrival at the security gate. There are washer/dryers on site and they are coin operated.
*** PLEASE NOTE: We apologize due to the damage of two category 3 hurricanes, some resort amenities will remain unavailable until end of 2024 or even few months of 2025. If you’re looking to book, please be aware we cannot guarantee the availability of every amenity. While disappointing, this is unavoidable due to our need to have everything fixed so we may be able to provide you a safe and comfortable stay in the future. We will not issue refunds due to unavailable amenities during this time.

The Neighborhood:
Rocky Point is comprised mostly of condos and some hotels. It's generally tourists with a few restaurants including The Pelican and the resorts bar & grill. While the resort has a private beach, it is not a swimming beach as it's surrounded by a rock wall. If guests would like to swim in the ocean, they can go to Whiskey Joes around the corner (15 minute walk or 2-3 minute drive) or Ben T. Davis beach just behind Whiskey Joes (18 minute walk, 2-3 minute drive).

Getting Around:
The resort has plenty to do! With that being said, if you'd like to explore downtown Tampa, FL or St. Petersburg, we'd recommend either bringing a car or using uber/lyft!

There is plenty to do in the area! This beautiful home is managed by Awaysis, a full service vacation rental company with 24/7 live guest support. We're available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

We allow early check-ins and late check-outs on a conditional basis. 11AM - 3PM is $15/hour, 3PM - 4PM is complimentary when available.
