Welcome to our Lake House!

You're invited to our space that’s right in the heart of Bumpass. The house is a 5 minute walk from the lake (this is the warm/private side of Lake Anna), with a private slip (yes of course you can bring your boat!), a picnic area, & boat ramp. When you aren't admiring the lake views from the dock, enjoy the spacious yard with a built in firepit, cornhole boards, screened in porch, entertainment room, & WIFI. After a long day of fishing, boating, or kayaking, the home welcomes you with a kitchen full of supplies to make sure you have everything you need. We also have an outdoor grill, TVs in the living room, entertainment room, and master bedroom. The house accommodates up to 8 people that could comfortably stay here at the lake house with plenty of space for activities. This house can accommodate the whole family!

The space:
This is an inviting and thoughtfully decorated house in the center of Lake Anna on the warm private side (lake access not lake front) with spacious rooms and lots of natural lighting. Great for the whole family to relax and make memories in.
WIFI is available throughout the house and the TVs are ready for you to log in to your own accounts on all the major program applications (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, etc).

This property is on a SEPTIC SYSTEM, please be mindful of that!
Ex:. No flushing lady products, baby wipes, paper towels please!!

No smoking inside, if smoking outside please use designated ash trays and be mindful of throwing anything in the lawn:)

Other amenities include a huge deck overlooking a fire pit with chairs (you will have to supply your own firewood), cornhole boards, and a screened in porch area; we have space for you to park your boat in the driveway. It also has a picnic area and boat ramp which is just a short relaxing 5 minute walk. If needed, the house also has available kid friendly amenities, including kids' dishes/silverware, board games, and books.

Bedrooms:
The first bedroom is the master suite located on the opposite side of the other bedrooms and is a king size bed, with a dresser a 58in tv and a great size bathroom with a tub and shower.

The second bedroom includes another king bed with a luggage rack and large closet!

Our third bedroom has a queen bed with a luggage rack and large closet!

The fourth bedroom includes two twin beds with a luggage rack and large closet as well!

The Lake House is lake access! We are not on the water, though we are a short walk away across the street. We want to be clear so your expectations are spot on - lake access, not lake front!

Guest access:
Guests have access to the entire property as well as the picnic area near the dock, with the private boat slip. The gate code will be provided at check-in.

Other things to note:
One pet per booking is allowed a fee of $200 will be required.

Questions: Let us know if you have any questions!!! We ask that you reserve late night questions for urgent situations. We do not live on the property so you have the home to yourself for the duration of your stay.

Lake Anna State park, which features hiking and a beach area with a playground, is within a 10 minute drive (5 mins to the park + 5 to the beach). $10 per car for entry + $5 per person beach fee.

Bring your boat, jet skis, kayaks, and/or floats to launch from our slip!!!

The house can accommodate 4 parked cars and a boat! The house is located off the main road with a private road shared with a few other homes with a cul de sac at the end!
The property has two cameras: one doorbell and one over the back door facing the backyard (to include the firepit). Tampering with, disabling, or obstructing these is strictly prohibited and cause for removal from the property / significant fees. The cameras are for liability reasons. They are not actively monitored, though they may be checked to verify compliance with rules.

Note: Guests use our boat slip/boat ramp and firepit at their own risk!!! There is no life guard present.

Keep in mind: Lake Anna doesn’t have many food delivery options; similarly, not many Uber or Lift services. Please bring your own water toys! If they do not belong to you, you may NOT use them! We supply starter packs for guests such as a couple of rolls of paper towels, toilet paper, bath towels, and accessories. If you are staying for long periods of time you will have to bring extra items to get through your stay.
