At the River Bend Cabin you’ll enjoy all the joys of mountain living along with plenty of modern conveniences and comforts. The cabin consists of 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, , 1 loft and sleeps a total of 6. This property sits on the Ruidoso River among soaring ponderosa pines and blue spruce. It is not uncommon to see deer, elk, free range horses, hummingbirds, and even black beer. At the same time, you can walk to the river, restaurants, shops, bars, and galleries in midtown with ease. This cabin was built in 2010 with vaulted ceilings and has the ultimate cabin feel. A full kitchen with full size electric range, refrigerator and microwave offers the comforts of home. Through the wall heat and air conditioning, with an electric fireplace, and all the modern amenities that could be needed. Along with a comfortable sofa, the River Bend Cabin's living area includes a dining table between the living room and kitchen. The kitchen area features a refrigerator, electric range, and coffeemaker. The kitchen is well appointed with all of the common cookware items you will need. The bedrooms boast a king-size bed in the master, Full Size bed in the guest room, and 2 twins in the loft. Suitcase stands finish the amenities in these rooms. When you arrive, you’ll find the beds perfectly made up, plenty of clean towels in the bathroom and extra bedding ready and waiting. If you need a nap or a shower after your travels, you can take one right away, before you even unpack. The deck overlooking the Ruidoso River is sure to be a favorite place to start your morning with a cup of coffee or to end your evening. There are 4 chairs. A propane grill is available for your use. Grindstone Lake and Trail System is only five minutes away; here you can fish, boat, hike, mountain bike, ride horses and play disc golf. Equally close is Grindstone Stables, where you can enjoy an hour-long guided tour on horseback. In just 10 minutes you can drive to Alto Lake and Recreation Area. When you’re not fishing in the trout-stocked lake, you can explore the surrounding trails on foot, mountain bike or horseback, and at the end of the Eagle Creek Trail you’ll find a waterfall. In 15 minutes or less you can drive to the Hubbard Museum of the American West, the Inn of the Mountain Gods and Billy the Kid casinos and Ruidoso Downs, as well as several golf courses. Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads. 4x4 or chains may be required for during the winter months.
