Unresponsive host, lacking supplies and proper cleaning
Completely unresponsive host. Asked for check in details 3 days before, told that I would get them the night before, but didn’t. After flying across the country, still didn’t have the check in details (after several attempts to contact host that day). Wondering where we would all stay that night, we showed up at the house — no one there. Disgusting. Had to call VRBO who were amazing and got the host on the phone and got the check in info. Others have mentioned it wasn’t clean. We found a used Qtip in one washroom and a dirty shower wall in the other. No soap to use in the shower, and missing some basic cleaning supplies. Sent request again to host, but just told us “it was there”. Claims to be able to house 10 people, but didn’t even have enough towels for 6. Day or so before leaving, finally connected with the property manager and told him of our issues, he said there would be some compensation. I am still waiting. This place could be so great, it’s in a decent location.

It is a two and half bath not three as advertised. Was told I would get entrance information the night before booking. Didn’t get it till I called the morning of the booking. Made for anxious moments not knowing where to go after we got off cruise ship. After I finally got information, communication was ok. The home was hot during our stay. May be ok during cooler weather. Seemed to be close to most places. Left for airport at 3:30 am. Got there there in 20 minutes

Simple Getaway
The place was okay, little disappointing with cleanliness of the space while we were there. The lack of fans or central air for the space made it hard to sleep since we had to leave the windows open to circulate the air. Windows didn't have screens to prevent bugs from getting inside. Still like the place but those were the only negatives. We liked the nearby coffee shop that was in the neighborhood as well.

TERRIBLE!!!!
We waited til 4 pm check in, used the door code provided to us via email, after payment was taken, and found house unclean and not made up for us. I called the host and they called me saying there was a mistake and house overbooked even tho they took my money and sent me entry code. Having 9 family members from out of town we priceesed to do the laundry ourselves and clean the kitchen. TERRIBLE!

This property could be really great. Good location, and lots of room. We were a group of 7 and we were not tripping over one another. Beds were comfortable. Unfortunately it was not very clean. Floors were not swept or washed. Fridge was not cleaned properly and the shower door s were covered in soap scum. There was no BBQ, blender kitchen supplies was minimal. Parking was on not on-site but on the street. We contacted the host to let him know, he offered to send cleaner's back. We rejected due to the fact we were unpacked and settled. Wconcathewvonclean

Awful experience
The apartment clearly hadn’t been cleaned, not all the beds had linens and the door to the neighboring apartment was unlocked so the neighbors had unrestricted access to our space. On top everything else, the locks on the large second floor windows were broken, making it unsafe for the children with us. The host was unresponsive until I contacted VRBO directly.

Family get away
Cons: The listing is inaccurate. There is no hot tub. Parking, while adequate, is on street not on site. One of our cars nearly got towed due to a misunderstanding of local parking regulations. There are 2.5 baths not 3. We did not receive check in information until the day of check in. Pros: It is a nice house in a quiet neighborhood and a great location. The beds are comfortable. The price was fair.

Great stay in a fantastic neighborhood
Booked this wonderful house for our night in Vancouver before leaving for a cruise the next morning. It was easy to get to the house from the airport and as we were traveling with our two sets of elderly parents and our teenage son, we wanted a place with four bedrooms that was close to places we could walk to for food. The house has a room on the ground floor which was perfect for my dad who doesn't do great with stairs and only needed to walk up them for breakfast in the morning. The home was clean and had what we needed for our stay. The neighborhood is really beautiful and was only a ten minute walk to a Main Street with lots of food options, including a wonderful bakery where I was able to get breakfast for the family. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it if you need a place in Vancouver!
