This quiet forest retreat offers the perfect perch to reconnect with yourself, your loved ones, and nature. Uniquely situated amongst the trees, the home is accessed by a meandering set of concrete stairs. Upon entering, you will immediately take notice of the home's gorgeously appointed living quarters. Decorated with tasteful simplicity in mind, the furnishings have been carefully sourced with sustainability in mind. From the living room sofa, continue to enjoy tree views amidst the warmth of the gas fireplace.

Steps from here, the stunning chef's kitchen provides the perfect place to prepare meals with your favorite person. Stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a sizable center island make up this space. When it's time to eat, dine at the in-kitchen dining nook or eat alfresco on the expansive deck.

Pleasantly decorated and full of natural light, the bedrooms are equally inviting. If little ones are visiting with you, they will be sure to love the child-friendly items available.

A true focal point of the sanctuary is the spacious deck and the enclosed yard equipped with a hot tub surrounded by never-ending views of the trees. You'll also discover a firepit - perfect for storytelling sessions and s'mores.

Although the home is tucked in a quiet wilderness location, numerous attractions are within minutes of your stay. Less than 15 miles away, explore the Muir Woods National Monument, Mount Tamalpais State Park, the Marine Mammal Center, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, and the San Francisco Symphony.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking, partying, or loud music is permitted anywhere on the premises.
This home has limited parking available. The garage can fit two small vehicles, but full-size trucks and SUVs will need to park up the road.
Guests must access a concrete set of 83 steps to access the front door.
The washer/dryer is only available for the local caretaker's use.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Security camera details: There are two cameras outside of the house monitoring entrances: one in front of the downstairs front entrance, the other on the back deck. Neither of these cameras can record audio. The camera on the back deck cannot see the hot tub, only the top of the stairs and in front of the sliding doors. Garage keypad has camera




Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
