Cozy townhouse

The townhouse was perfect for our four night stay in Mendoza. On checking in Atilio took special care in ensuring we had all the info on the area and recommendations for the best restaurants. He also arranged a fantastic day of wine tasting. highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay!!

When my wife, son, and daughter in law arrived we first noticed how great the outside courtyard was! Once inside we loved the two bedrooms and glad to have the extra 1/2 bath with four of us. The washing machine and dryer was a great though we hung our clothes from the upstairs balcony. The house was a good size and had everything we needed. Perhaps best of all was its central location in Mendoza! We just "followed the train tracks" (no noisy trains!) to get downtown. It was an easy walk to all the great restaurants, shops, and Mendoza's fun side. We rented a car for one day to experience the wineries - Zuccardi was a favorite where we also had lunch. AMP Cava was also a quaint winery stop where we visited with the owner. I highly recommend this VRBO to other travelers!

Good value for the price

The apt. is located a 15-minute walk from the city center and about 10 minute walk from Mendoza's great big park -- which also made it the most quiet place we stayed at in Argentina. Even though on a somewhat busy street, the apt. is set waaay off the street with lots of security and privacy. Super quiet, which I value very highly. Place is good for the value in terms of size and fully equipped for comfort, although a bit run-down and a couple of things (auto heater upstairs and downstairs, drying, not working properly but there were alternatives); that is, not a luxurious place but very comfortable for a few days' stay. Owner and assistant were incredibly helpful; met us at airport; were on call 24 hours a day; and owner even gave us a ride one night to restaurant when we went the wrong way and couldn't get a cab (as well as called restaurant to change reservation). Right next door is a fantastic bakery; a few nice restaurants and fruit, convenience stores also on nearby blocks. Overall, great owner, great location if you don't mind walking a bit (or cabbing or trolley car), very very quiet, good value for the price.

Hi We are Atilio and Mercedes with our daughter Sofia, we love to travel and to welcome toursits from around the world. We grew up in Argentina but lived in Europe and the Us. We are currently living in mendoza for the past 5 years.

This is a very spacious duplex ideal for a family or group of friends ready to enjoy Mendoza. It has a living - dining room with cable TV, fully equipped kitchen, downstairs toilette and your own private patio with terrace.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a full bathroom (with bath tub), one bedroom with a queen size bed and the other one with two twin size beds. Both bedrooms with big empty closets. There's a small terrace perfect for hanging your cloths and sunbathing.
There is a sofa bed in the living room to accommodate a fifth person.
The place is completely equipped with all you need to make your stay very comfortable, Internet WIFI, Cable TV, Air Conditioning, Washing machine, Dryer, phone with free local phone calls ideal for calling a taxi, making reservations, etc., and all you need for cooking and entertaining. Private parking for one vehicle located on the same block, it has a gate with keys and it is not covered (no roof).
Sheets, towels, soap and dish-washing soap are included.

Hva gjør dette overnattingsstedet unikt?

The location of the property is great, we are close to downtown but far away from the noise. We are also very close to park San Martin. The house has a great distribution where the bedrooms are upstairs. The inside patio is great to hangout and take advantage of mendoza`s weather.
