Great communication! Beautiful property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Perfect for our two families and the resort was wonderful. Nice location on the island also.

This is a beautiful unit at a prime spot in a wonderful resort. Everything was exactly as pictured. The kitchen & baths were well stocked with everything we needed. The host and property manager were very responsive. We loved the sunset views, the beach, being right next to Dukes and the wonderful pool. We left just as tropical storm Lala was hitting and we were unsure if we'd actually make it home due to many flight cancellations. As a backup, we contacted the host to ask for help. He offered that we could stay a few additional days if necessary at a reduced rate since he had a gap in the schedule. We did barely make it out but it was nice to know that we had a home if we didn't.

The condo is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped, perfect for our group of 10, six adults and four kids. The views from the balcony are gorgeous, even better than the photos and the resort is perfect for a big multigenerational family vacation. Both the owner and his management team were great to deal with providing lots of clear communication and helpful when we wanted to rent a rollaway bed. We had a fantastic week here and would definitely come back!

Our host Shafeeq went above and beyond to make our stay perfect!Communication was excellent, the condo was super clean and the view spectacular!When our flight was delayed he had no one coming In the next day so we were able to stay with NO extra cost ! We were able to enjoy part of the day before we left. Our stay was so enjoyable we will be staying there again as soon as we can get back to Maui!

This is a very nice condo that exceeded all of our expectations. The communications between us and the owner were excellent. The kitchen had everything that a family of ten needs to accommodate foods/drinks brought in. We highly recommend considering this condo for your next vacation.

The host was very accommodating with a late departure and answered any questions or concerns in a very timely matter. We love the property and it is our fourth stay at Honua Kai!

The host for this property was extremely helpful and attentive. It is why I chose it over others. He was concerned about every detail! And it showed! The property itself was fabulous! Exceptional ocean views, private lanai, 3 separate bedrooms with 3 separate baths. The beds were so comfortable! The kitchen was exceptional; it even had two ovens, fridge with water and ice maker with 2 kinds of ice! Nice dishwasher! All utensils and pots and pans. Even a huge spice rack! The living room and large dining table was perfect for our family of 7. Having our own washer and dryer was amazing! The Honua Kai had wonderful bellman that met us upon arrival. Everything was easy! Great location; we loved Dukes and the beach out front! The 5 pools and 3 hot tubs were all fun too. Can’t say enough about how great it was. It was epic!

Excellent stay in Maui at this gorgeous condo. We spent lots of time on the balcony watching the whales - no need to spend money on a whale watching cruise! The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms spacious, and the entire unit had plenty of space for 6 adults. The kitchen is fully stocked (some oils/spices, depends on what is leftover from previous guests) and great for cooking. Bringing food down to the shared grill area is easy. The elevators are fast, which is great in a large building like this. We enjoyed having Duke's on-site, especially on the first and last nights of our stay. We did hear some noise from neighboring units, but not too much. The fitness room is large with just about everything you need for a good workout. There is a grocery store (Times) walking distance, which is very convenient as well. We would definitely recommend this property!

This is our second time at Honua Kai, and the first time in this room. It met or exceeded our expectations at every turn. The view of the room is obviously the star, but everything else is wonderful as well. Comfortable beds and furniture, amenities/supplies were generous, and they had lots of extras for beach play, and items specifically for our toddler. Speaking of that, one of the pack and plays was broken, but luckily they had 2, so we didn't have any issue. The host told me to discard the broken one, and placed an order for a new one right away for the next guests that may need it.We still love Honua Kai as a whole. We were worried in the 10 years since our last visit for our honeymoon that the property might be showing it's age, but it was just as lovely and well taken care of as it was upon our first visit.Our experience was great, the communication was always on point, and the Aloha has once again invigorated our spirit. We can't wait to return! A few small notes, the oven has had it's numbers/arrow worn off, so we did burn the heck out of our bacon, so that's a tiny area of improvement. Also some felt pads for the lanai chairs to make them less noisy when moving them around. They were pretty heavy to lift and move, so most of the time we scooted them, and they made a lot of noise.Those tiny gripes don't distract from the otherwise wonderful stay at all.

Condo with a beautiful view. Rooms were comfortable. Enjoyed having coffee from balcony in morning and wine in evenings. Kitchen had everything you need to cook. Everything kept nice and clean

Amazing Condo and View

This was the second time we’ve stayed at the Honui Kai and this Condo is everything you could want in a 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom unit. Also, the 2 queen beds in the 3rd bedroom is definitely an added bonus, and the view is simple amazing! The unit was very clean and the property manager did a great job with any needs we had. We would easily stay in this unit again.

Pros Clean condo and awesome views. Everything we needed was provided. We used the beach chairs a lot. Market within walking distance and loved the pools. Dukes food was amazing and we wanted to eat there as much as we could. Cons. Some of the items were damaged like the toilet paper holder and hand towel holders. Took us a minute to figure out the showers. Exterior chair cushions were ripped. Thermostat would reset every night and we would have to adjust it to keep it cool.Overall a great location and experience. Would go back if we could.

Family vacation

We had a great time at this location! Communication was handled so quickly, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen nicely appointed! View offered incredible whale watching daily and that was a highlight!! Enjoyed the beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and boogie boards.Fun to be close to Dukes for dinner and lunch out when we wanted. Enjoyed using the grills down by the pool too! Would stay here again and highly recommend! Our family of 6 adults and 2 kids were very comfortable!!
