Private two car garage equipped for normal cars and free street parking for overflow or the family buss. Walking distance to many breweries, cafes, dog parks and restaurants.

15 min from seaworld, the beach and downtown depending on traffic. There is 2 grills one is hooked up to natural gas and the other is an old school Kingsford, if dad is joining you. Enjoy a margarita on the porch or grill a New York steak.

Great location, near areas we were visiting. Definitely got my steps in going up and down stairs. Unable to park Jeep Wagoneer in garage due to how washer & dryer were placed. Had to circle neighborhood to find a parking spot. My son parked his Malibu in garage with no issues. Could have used a couple more bath towels, will carry a few of my own next time. Bathroom on second floor had a couple of issues. Door handle would fall off, had I had an Allen wrench I would have tightened it myself. The shower door was not aligned correctly with shower frame maybe a little tightening of that would have fixed it also. Out of the two tubs available the downstairs tub was the ideal one to give my 14mo old a bath but it was stuck in shower mode. So my 5’1” stature had to huff and puff to lean over the side of the jacuzzi tub on the 3rd floor for his bath. As the “handywoman” in my house my critical thinking skills were in high gear the two nights we spent here. Great place to stay but would definitely recommend a handyman thoroughly check house and make sure all the hardware is in working order.

There's a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. One upstairs, one on the main level and one in the basement. There is also a pull out sectional that could be used for a bed on the main level. Super easy check-in, but pay close attention to the parking instructions. If you have a larger vehicle (Our Atlas Cross Sport just barely fit) you may need to find parking on the street. We parked two cars in the garage, though:) The host was very clear on the instructions, so we were good to go! The house was clean and it worked perfectly for our purposes. We didn't get the opportunity to use the back patio or the kitchen, but there are spaces for people to be chill together or alone. Also loved that Jordan provided some local options in the instructions. I would definitely stay again! Thanks so much!

Bathroom on each floor, this is a duplex - the neighbors were quiet. We arrived very late and it was hard to find the key box. It is to the Left of the Garage. We had a large van and had to park sideways to get it to fit, but it was doable. So close to Sea World and the Zoo, it was perfect for what we needed.

Overall, it's a nice place in a good neighborhood and the stay was pleasant. We appreciate the property being opened up to us to stay in. That being said, I have a couple things worth mentioning that I'd look into for future guests if it were my property. Guests should know the garage doesn't fit full size vehicles. If you have one, you'll need to park up on the street and it's usually a block away. Also, proper maintenance like clogged sinks and a shower knob needing to be taken apart to get hot water should be a guarantee. And I'd have obvious basics available to them like paper towels, garbage bags, and a dustpan even so unplanned store runs/expenses don't feel necessary to them. Nice stay! The location was convenient for our trip to visit UCSD with our son. The property was walking distance to the historical street with a bit of nightlife.The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay.

Beautiful property — perfect for families!This property was beautiful and our family loved it. There was more than enough space for everyone, and the location was incredibly convenient — close to the Marine base, which was exactly where we needed to be. The host communicated very well throughout our stay and was responsive whenever we needed anything.We'd happily stay here again and recommend it to others, especially families visiting the base.

My intention with this review is to be as honest as possible to ensure that others don’t have to endure the same challenges our family did upon arrival at this location. Beware* this home was beyond dirty and did not match the description. One of the supposed rooms was a tiny closet and the other room was the living room with a pullout couch and not an actual room either. Additionally, the pullout couch was discolored and extremely dirty and had no sheets or blankets. Furthermore, there was mold in the fridge and icemaker, the garage door was broken, dirty handprints throughout the house on the walls in addition to other bodily fluids or fluids splashed on the walls, and the linens that were available were also soiled and unusable. When we called the host to voice our concerns he was belligerent and told us that we were expecting too much for a rental in San Diego. When trying to explore possibilities to make the arrangement livable, thehost continued to dismiss any concerns and became argumentative and further belligerent at which point we decided to switch to a different host due to the poor conditions of the home and the aggressive and questionable behavior of the host. Please be aware that there are many other hosts with descriptions that match the home that offer a much better experience for the same price or cheaper and closer locations to the beach.
