This was a GR8 small place. Comfortable, well appointed, clean. Easily sleeps 7 with 2 beds upstairs,semi private, but 1 bathroom downstairs as stated. AC worked well which is not always the case with these old cottages.. Only reason we didn't give it an overall excellent was no WIFI. In this day and age WIFI should be there. But we would certainly come back.

We could not have ask for a better experience. First time with vrbo, everything went smooth. House has old island charm, very clean, and accommodating for just a quick weekend trip.

The house was great and exactly as described. Communication from the host was excellent, we could not have asked for a better property manager. We will definitely keep this at the top of our list when traveling again.

We loved our stay here! The house was very cozy and a perfect size for me and my teen daughter and young adult son. The location worked great and the property was pretty. We loved the decor and books and the comfortable furniture. We really appreciated the kitchen, which was large and well-stocked, even with a few cooking necessities like oil and seasonings, blender, coffee maker, etc. It was very helpful to have a washer/dryer, and we had good temperature control. The only thing that was tough was not having wifi, because my son and I had to do some school/work things online, but it was otherwise perfect for us.

Charming home that is well maintained, exceptionally clean, and has everything you could need for a Chincoteague stay. The porch is lovely as is the yard. The property has outdoor furniture, two picnic tables, and a grill. The interior is decorated in true Chincoteague fashion and made us feel like we had been welcomed into the home of dear friends. The location on the island can’t be beat! It’s near Memorial Park, Ricky’s Produce, Beebe Ranch, and the boat harbor. Mr. Baldy’s is a short walk, and it is a straight shot in the car to Maddox Blvd. (The main road to the beach).

House was uber clean easy to get in and out. Host was very responsive! My family and I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for having us! Coming for the swim back of the ponies was a 38 yr bucket list item.

Wonderful property in a good location. Not a super busy roadway. Easy walk to the Pit Stop, small convenience store, for my morning coffee. Easy access to the rest of the island. Host was nice and responded quickly to any concerns.

Cute house in great location

We really enjoyed staying in this cute beach house. It is conveniently located within walking distance to a convenient store and Mr. Baldys Restaurant. It was nice to unplug (no WiFi) and enjoy life.

Great Spot on the Island

The house was clean, well maintained, quiet at night, and plenty of parking for 2 cars if needed. For the price, this place is a steal even during peak season. Only "complaint" would be no wifi but that had zero impact on our experience.

Love this Beach Cottage

This is our second time visiting this cute cottage. We loved making this our home while we stayed for a short time on the island. The location to everything is perfect. The Beach, restraunts, parks, shopping...all very close by. We also loved the decor and layout and most importantly, it is clean! Thanks for another great stay!

Perfect little getaway for Independence Day!

I took my teen daughters on an adventure to Chincoteague Island over 4th of July. Michelle's place was exactly as described in the listing and perfect for the three of us. After a week of sharing a hotel room in the Outer Banks, we enjoyed being able to relax in our own spaces with the three bedrooms. The home was very clean and had all the needed amenities, plus! The location was perfectly situated to all that the island has to offer. Michelle's helpful and detailed communication was much appreciated. We would definitely return for another stay!

Cute home

Very clean, well maintained little house. We loved the fact that we could unplug while we stayed, my husband and I both have very stressful jobs and being able to escape meant everything. It was in a quiet location with the most beautiful little fairytale tree out front. Great place to get away. I will definitely book again in the future.

Great Choice for Chincoteague

This was a great find, a few blocks away from the main drag, and only about ten minutes from Assateague Beach. Very comfortable, host was terrific. When we got there we had a question about the listing, as Vrbo had indicated there was a hot tub (which there wasn't). Michelle was very apologetic, seems to be a miscommunication with Vrbo over the amenities. But that was a minor issue, we were there for the beach and the ponies anyway! The only thing to keep in mind {and this isn't a reflection on the property) is that cellular service on the whole island seems to be VERY spotty (particularly at the house). It was challenging to look up tours, restaurants, etc., but not so much that it was a major hassle. In all, it was a great stay, and we would definitely consider this listing again!

Cozy place

Nice cottage has the basic you need to function. Vintage . Small but well distributed space. Highly recommend. No WiFi and no cable perfect to disconnect from technology.

A beautiful home!!

This was our first time in Chincoteague, we wanted to see if it would be a good place for our family to start vacationing every year. This house is located in such a convenient spot where everything is close! If you stay here, go to Mr. Baldy's up the street for breakfast. I promise you won't be disappointed!! The hiuse was clean, fresh linens, plenty of dvds for my kids to watch, and a beautiful little back porch with chairs where the kids spent most of their time. The beach is only 15 minutes away and stores are within 5 minutes. We will definitely be staying here again, we were so happy and impressed with everything!!!
