We love this townhouse! This is the first time staying here in the summer and it’s just as good! It’s close to all the amenities of Vail Valley but also a peaceful retreat along the Eagle River. The towns house has everything you need to make you feel welcome and at home. Highly recommend!

We loving staying at the is beautiful town home! It’s a 10 out of 10! It’s close to all the amenities Avon has to offer, shops and restaurants and a quick ride up the hill to the ski slopes. The river right outside the back door is so stunning with the Mountain Views! It’s always clean, quiet and spacious for our family of four. We cannot wait to go back!

Wonderful townhouse in an amazing location!

This property is amazing! We love staying at River Forge! The townhouse is clean, large enough for our family of 4, close to everything Avon has to offer, and the views and sounds of the river cannot be beat. Easy access to Beaver Creek for skiing and shopping. The hosts are the best! Can’t wait to return!

Look No Further!

The property was exactly as described. Clean, well stocked kitchen, garage parking, close to Avon town center and Beaver Creek resort. An extra bonus was that the condo was right along the eagle river. The river sounds are very soothing, especially at night while sleeping. Jay was gracious and very responsive. Perfect size accommodations for group of 6.

Great place in great location.

Really enjoyed our stay and it's a really great location, also very quiet complex. In particular the kitchen was as well stocked as any place we've stayed, with foil/wrap/coffee filters etc, as well as non stick pans that actually still have the non stick in perfect shape (a rare find in our experience with condo kitchens). I will also note the tea kettle was a personal favorite, may have to get one like that for home.

Avon townhouse

We enjoyed our stay so much. This is what we dreamed of for retirement. This is a very clean, well equipped home and excellent communication with owners. We were close enough but not too near anything we wished for.

Ultimate respite from Texas heat

The townhome located in Avon was the perfect location for all our activities. Backing up the the river made for a beautiful setting and sleeping even better with the sound of the river. House was very well maintained and host provided nice amenities. Jay and Elaine were very responsive to questions and offered great recommendations. We will definitely be back!

February Ski Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the townhouse in Avon. The unit was exactly as advertised- clean, well equipped and maintained. Location was convenient to bot Beaver Creek and Vail resorts. Hosts were great with communication before and during the visit. We had zero issues with the rental process or the unit during our visit. We will definitely stay at Jay and Elaine’s townhouse again, if available on future trips to the Vail region.

Absolutely splendid!!

This is the best VRBO we have ever rented, and we have stayed at many across the United States. Clean, beautifully decorated, abundant creature comforts, and a great location makes this a perfect 5 star spot. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

Great Ski Location

Clean property that worked great for 2 families on a ski weekend. Property is a 2 minute drive to the lower BC ski parking lot. Also very close to Avon rec center for fun pool and hot tub post skiing.

Great place; well-maintained; excellent value

We loved our stay here. So close to Beaver Creek and Avon. Really convenient as everything was a short drive. The place is well-maintained and well-stocked. Everything we needed was here. We cooked two meals here along with going out. Good communication. Just an ideal stay.

Wonderful home with great location!

This condo exceeded our expectations! It was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The view is amazing and the location was perfect for a ski trip to BC and Vail. Kitchen was fully stocked and beds and bedding were so comfortable. Jay the owner was so helpful! We parked in the Bear lot to ski BC which is very close to the condo and took the shuttle. And also drove to Vail to ski about 15 minutes from the condo. We really appreciated that there were no steps to the condo. We parked in the driveway and dropped the skis in the garage and walked right in to the first floor of the condo. The laundry room was full of storage for all our ski gear. We would love to come back in the summer!

Amazing place!

We came to Avon with family to ski and the house was very convenient and close to town and ski areas. Was perfect for what we needed and was very well stocked with amenities! Host was very helpful! Highly recommend!

Doesn’t get any better than this

Ideally located for lot’s of things especially if you have reason’s to go to Beaver Creek Resort Area. Jay was very gracious and quick to respond. The home on the river was stocked beyond expectations and in fact was by far the best we have ever encountered on our many stays.

Great Townhome, great location

The property is very nice and well stocked. The townhome is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. A/C units in all bedrooms upstairs in case the weather gets a little too warm. The location is great, overlooking the Eagle River. The owners are wonderful to work with. We will definitely be returning.

Summer Vacation

Where do I begin....what an absolutely perfect stay!! This home is very well maintained and the attention to detail and love for the home shows throughout this beautiful space. Everything was spotless and well appointed. The furniture is lovely and the beds were so comfortable. The linens were very high quality. There are portable air conditioning units in each bedroom. We really didn't need them as the nights were cool. The view is breathtaking! We loved sitting out on the deck and listening to the sounds of the river. We even took a dip in the river after a long day of hiking. The location was perfect. Easy access to Beaver Creek and Vail. Communication with the owners was wonderful. We will be back!!

Nice Townhome

We enjoyed our stay in the Avon/Edwards area. The location of the townhome was close to restaurants, stores, bike trails, bus stops, parks, etc. It was nice to be able to ride our bikes to a lot of places! We made a lot of meals at the townhome and were able to find plenty of dishes, pots, pans, outdoor grill, pantry items, etc. The view from the back deck next to the creek was very relaxing. This is a really nice townhome to stay in.

Spring break trip

My family stayed at this home three years ago so I was thrilled when we had the opportunity to stay there again. The home has plenty of space and the Eagle River flows behind the backyard. I would sleep with the window open every night just to listen to the river flowing. There is an asphalt hiking trail right outside of the home that I would walk every morning. The home is also located close to everything in Avon and to the Beaver Creek ski resort. I can't wait to go back!

Exceptional property for a ski vacation

What an amazing spring break skiing both Vail and Beaver Creek at this perfect property. The townhouse was even better than advertised. Great living area for evening fellowship and a perfect arrangement of bedrooms for multiple adults and teens. The owners responded almost instantly any time we had a question and even suggested the perfect restaurant for a romantic anniversary dinner. An amazing location near many wonderful restaurants, shops, discount ski rentals and Beaver Creek/Vail. Did I mention the view of the river and mountains from the living area? We will be back!

The perfect ski getaway!

This is the perfect property for a ski trip. With easy access to both Beaver Creek and Vail, we were on the mountain in no time. And the property’s wonderfully organized garage made it easy to unpack and load up our gear each time. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. We had everything we needed and enjoyed sitting by the fire in the evenings and gazing at the river and mountains outside the window. We’ll be rebooking this property for all future trips to the area!

Avon/Beaver Creek Townhome

Very enjoyable stay in this spacious 3 BR 2 1/2 bath townhome on the Eagle River in Avon Colorado. Centrally located to Vail, Beaver Creek, Arrowhead, Edwards. You can get to anything you want to do in a matter of just a few minutes. Plenty of restaurants, shopping, Grocery, ski access minutes away. Owner has access instructions & everything you need in a well organized binder & has made things easy, hassle free & straightforward to get in & out of the property. The property is beautifully furnished, & extremely clean. The owners are very gracious & accessible. They go out of their way to answer any questions & insure you have everything you need for a very enjoyable stay. We are looking forward to our next visit.
