Views were great, the unit was as described and clean and the neighborhood was very nice and quiet. My stay was good. Negatives about the unit were the place needs new windows as half do not open, sliding doors are old and need replacement as well as the sliding screen doors. They are missing the wheels that keep them on the track and they serve no purpose. Therefore, when you want the ocean breeze to come through you also have to deal with the gnat's. The bedroom behind the living room has a king size bed in a room meant for a twin or full. The bed is pushed into the wall with no room to exit the bed to go to the bathroom. The unit is not level with about a 6 or 7 inch slope from center of unit to the patio wall. The patio is the best place and was appointed well. The glass railing is slightly wobbly and is being affected by the unlevel foundation. The grill works fine but is old. The couches in living room are uncomfortable and slope with the room. The refrigerator is good but the door opens halfway on the left side because it is against the wall. No pizza pan for the oven and no matching lids for frying pans. Overall the property needs work but we were there for the beach and the access and view were great. We loved Oceanside but will most likely look for a better appointed property on our next visit.
