Tropical Lake View is a two-story 5-bedroom vacation home located in Crystal Cove Resort in Kissimmee, FL. Within 10 minutes of Walt Disney World, this home is perfect to unwind during your visit to Central Florida. Your rental includes bed linens, towels, kitchenware as well as Wi-Fi and cable television. The kitchen has granite countertops and an oversized dining room table, and there are flat screen TVs in the living room and all bedrooms.

This vacation home has a private, screened-in swimming pool with water views which may be heated for an additional fee. The garage has been converted into a game room. The rental includes the use of a gas BBQ grill and guests can enjoy the community amenities. I loved it, my family not so much.

So this house has a lot space. The decor is cute, beds are comfy, plenty of towels, and tons of dinnerware and almost everything you need for cooking. I was happy with this home. My family on the other hand, had quite a few complaints. The pool is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. There is absolutely no light in the rear so swims at night with the kids were in almost complete darkness. The walls inside the house were in pretty bad shape (scratches and behind the entertainment console the outlet was just a hole). Not a lot of functioning light switches. And bugs bugs bugs. We’ve been to Florida plenty times and we know to except some of this, but every morning the kitchen would be flooded in tiny insects, even the bathroom in the master had insects on the vanities. The front door was cover with tiny flies and a bunch would fly in whenever we opened the door. I honestly didn’t mind all of this, but my family I guess is spoiled and did complain about these things. Maybe some of these things can be fixed and I’d be more than happy to come back and stay here again. Overall, it was acceptable for what we paid and the amount of time we stayed.

It was great but...

VERY satisfied overall with this property but there were a list of things on the list that needed attention to that we decided wasn't worth the phone call address (until after our stay). Let me start with amazing: Pool for the kids onsite was PERFECT. They swam literally all day and night. However, the lights in the pool didn't work so they swam in the dark with the exception of the back porch light in the corner. The space was exactly what we needed. Two families of 5 had no shortage of space and we utilized every inch! The convenience to Universal and everywhere else we went was perfection. The "not so amazing": The house was clean but could have been cleaner. No one vacuumed and it was evident. No one has dusted in the home in quite some time, again, quite evident. There was a massive spider web (literally as large as the corner wall and we took a picture) in the master shower. Like it is the first thing you notice when you walk in there. How it could be missed is besides me. There was no lightbulb in the living room lamp. There was one trash bag left there for us to use. We would have purchased more and/or picked up more at the store had we known. The tv in the bedroom with the bathroom upstairs (where my husband and I stayed) had one channel. We made due and hooked up a firestick to the small tv in the closet but sheesh, too much maneuvering. The blankets left there for use smelled of mildew. Other than those minor things, it really was such a great time had by all and we thoroughly enjoyed that living room sectional. It seated about 6 of us at a time. :)
