Who doesn't love Ocean Dunes, with it's full compliment of recreational activities and decks fronting right on the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. You will want to come back every summer to "Surfrider", a first floor two bedroom and two bath condo with amazing views. Located at the south end of the Ocean Dunes, this condo is oceanfront AND very close by to the wonderful Recreation Center with all of the amenities that will keep the kids busy and your heart healthy.

At "Surfrider" there is a King bed in the ocean side bedroom with en suite bathroom and direct access to the expansive deck. The street side bedroom has a pyramid bunk with a Double below and a Twin up top, and it is located beside a full bath. The sleeper sofa is located in the living room. The kitchen is efficiently designed and nicely equipped for meal prep and dinner time. There is a round dining table with seating for four and two barstools close by so everyone can enjoy the lively conversation or a few fish tales. The dining area flows into the den, which leads you outside to enjoy the sounds of the surf and plenty of seating/dining areas.

Ocean Dunes is an ideal year-round vacation spot for families! Located at the southern end of Pleasure Island, in Kure Beach next to Historic Fort Fisher, Ocean Dunes occupies one mile of beachfront with several private beach walkways. Included with your reservation is access to all the amenities Ocean Dunes offers, as well as the Recreation Center. Amenities include three outdoor pools, a children's playground, tennis courts, a basketball court and a shuffleboard court. The Recreation Center has an indoor pool, whirlpool/spa, gym, saunas, and showers. For Recreation Center Hours and Information, call 910.239.1370.

Don't forget to plan a visit to Fort Fisher, the NC Aquarium, or take the ferry over to Southport for a lovely stroll. Enjoy fishing from the Kure Beach pier, or dinner at some of our most famous restaurants. Take the family up to Carolina Beach for Thursday night fireworks, or Sunday movies, or just enjoy one of the oldest Boardwalk's on the East Coast. Pleasure Island is beckoning and it is time for you to answer the call. Plan your vacation today!

Clean with spectacular views

We absolutely loved our stay! The condo was clean and the views from the deck were amazing. We did have to reach out to the property manager after hours regarding an issue with the refrigerator and garbage disposal. Jason came to the rescue and fixed everything so quickly for a late night call on our first evening! As I understood it, he had to drive quite a ways to get to us since he generally served the Wrightsville beach area. But we were so grateful for his help and he was so kind! Would definitely stay here again.

Not bad

Great view and location, most amenities were good and worked. We couldn't get the TVs to work. The carpet was pretty gross and since we had a little one with us who spends a lot of time on the ground that wasn't ideal. The room smelled like cigarettes too. The unit was very bare bones, not much thought is put into it compared to other stays. The beds had very thin blankets, there's no extra soap, complimentary shampoo/conditioner, laundry soap, etc. For the size, it was more affordable so i suppose I expected it wouldn't be top notch but still would have been nice for it to feel a little cleaner. Great location and view though and the king bed was comfy!

Wonderful vacation spot!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location and the property! My only complaint is there was no TV in the guest room.

Best location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
