Natural light pours into this home through an abundance of picture windows, revealing lovely harbour views that make the perfect backdrop for a tranquil getaway. Three ranch sliders provide seamless indoor-outdoor flow on to the wrap around deck for fresh coastal air and fantastic alfresco dining, with a soundtrack of native birdsong.

The semi-open-plan living space will certainly become the hub of the home, furnished for comfort and equipped with a heat pump and ceiling fan for temperature control. A Smart TV with all the bells and whistles, and complimentary WiFi, are on hand for entertainment and connectivity, while a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a Nespresso machine and complimentary coffee pods, offers everything you need to self-cater your stay.

If you're looking for a cool and shady spot to enjoy a date with your book and a glass of wine, the rear deck is the place to be; the kids and the dog enjoying the lush lawn and the sunshine.

Four bedrooms, including a top-level space set up with the kids in mind, comfortably sleep up to nine guests here at Rose on the Bay. A bathroom on each level, plus a full laundry, complete the setup for your stay.

It’s an easy 1.2km walk to the Akaroa Village from Harbour View, where you’ll find a great selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Stroll along the foreshore with an ice-cream, or book yourself on a dolphin watching cruise to spot the native New Zealand Hector’s Dolphin!

If you’ve brought the boat, there’s space to park it at Rose on the Bay, and the nearest ramp to launch from is just a three-minute drive away. If you want to take the kids for a swim, the beach at French Bay is just a five-minute drive from your home away from home.
