LOCATION: The Palm by Roami is conveniently located directly across the street from Fort Lauderdale’s pristine beaches. This newly renovated tropical paradise boasts a contemporary design and a resort style pool surrounded by palm trees. You will experience the best Fort Lauderdale has to offer from world class dining to fine shopping and entertaining nightlife, all within walking distance.

The Space:
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is any time after 4PM and check-out is any time before 11AM. An early check-in or late check-out time may be available, please inquire about pricing at the time of booking.

ROOM ASSIGNMENT: We furnish all of our properties to a uniform standard, but individual units may differ slightly from the pictures shown. Exact unit is assigned at check-in. Views and square footage may vary slightly.

BEDROOM: This property sleeps 2 guests in 1 bed and 2 guests on a sofa bed. This unit has a smart TV in the living room and the bedroom. See the bed count below.
- Bedroom 1: 1 King (Sleeps 2)
- Common Area: 1 Queen sofa bed (Sleeps 2)* Additional beds cannot be provided.

BATHROOM: The bathroom is stocked with toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash), plush towels and washcloths, and a hair dryer.

KITCHEN & DINING: The kitchen is fully stocked (200-piece culinary set) and has a full line of new appliances (blender and drip coffee maker included). The dining area has seating for 4, along with all the necessary dinnerware, and more.

AMENITIES: This property has a communal laundry and a heated outdoor pool.

LAUNDRY INSTRUCTIONS:
The laundry room is not in the unit, it is located at the rear of the building on the opposite side of the parking garage. Laundry machines are now free and ready to use for our guests.

FREE PARKING: The parking area is located on the right and left sides in front of the building. Guests can park anywhere and we provide one parking space for each reservation.

TRASH DISPOSAL:
The dumpster is located on the front right side of the building.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?: Iron and ironing board, washer/dryer, free WiFi (Up to a max 75 Mbps) and Smart TVs for your streaming apps like Netflix. Stair gates provided upon availability.

AREA: The approximate unit size is 700 square feet.

Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive use of the entire property.

Getting Around:
We recommend guests use Lyft and Uber.

Other Things to Note:
Guests are emailed visual check-in instructions and unique door code 24 hours before check-in. Please check your spam/junk/promotion folders or contact us if you did not receive them by your day of check-in.

Surveillance Camera: For guest and property protection, A/V surveillance is present at the entrances and exits. No surveillance is located inside the property.

We believe in personal space. Prior to your arrival, your unit will be professionally cleaned and your self guided check in process ensures easy arrival with no long lines. Good but could be great!

My husband and two children, ages 18 and 20, really liked this property. The location is great and the pool area is really nice. The decor is pretty and the bed is very comfortable. There were just some little things that were not great: Although I fixed the curtains upon our arrival, every time I tried to close the curtains, something on them broke. I think they were installed poorly (an anchor in the ceiling did not hold from people before us) and the plastic hardware is if very poor quality. When the bedroom curtains were pulled all the way closed, there was still a sliver of the window that was uncovered (not that anyone was looking). Something in the bedroom smelled of urine at times, maybe the rug? There were absolutely NO HOOKS to hang towels on which was a problem. We finally purchased Command Hooks to use and took them down when we left! The bath products were not labeled--we could not figure out which was body wash and which was shampoo so we bought our own. Other than that, all was fine. I would have liked more towels since one towel per person is not enough for 7 nights but we made do. And, since there is no dishwasher, a drying rack would be a good idea. Also, a little vacuum would be icing on the cake due to sand. I tried sweeping several times but it didn't help much. We heard a lot of noise from the college boys next door and smelled their weed. It did not interfere with our happiness though. Finally, I was really bothered by the check-in process. Even though I have booked through VRBO many times, I still had to jump through the hoops for SEXTANT Properties, filling out a SUPERHOG background check and submitting copies of the front and back of my driver's license. I know it was spring break and they have to be very careful but it got to feeling sketchy as we approached our check-in time. The cleaning people were still there when we checked in which did not bother us--it was actually very nice to meet them and they did an excellent job. In my opinion, all of my complaints are easy fixes that come with new rentals. I would rent here again if I didn't have to go through such a ridiculous check-in process--it made me wonder what the purpose of going through VRBO is? Just publicity, I guess. I truly hope this feedback makes stays at this VRBO perfect for future guests!
