Beautiful cabin, but there were problems. First of all, the beds were very uncomfortable, an opinion shared by all, Secondly, I was unaware that I'd need to bring silverware to eat with. The cabin sleeps twenty, we brought 12, due to cancellations by some, and there was not enough silverware for everyone to eat with. Thirdly, and at first, this seems petty, but....there's not a functioning can opener in the house. The hand held one is stripped and broken and the electric one on the counter is in disrepair. The people across from us where having wild parties with a bunch of young people who were loudly partying, we couldn't enjoy nature as we sat around the fire due to so many people yelling and screaming across the street, the house next to us was shooting off guns or fireworks. There was a lot of dry timber everywhere and I was worried about a fire starting. During the day, there was a crew of latino men making a bunch of noise with power tools. We enjoyed being together and we worked hard to clean up afterwards.
