Location:
Ideally located just a short drive away from all the popular attractions of our area! Enjoy the local shops, restaurants, and breweries of the charming mountain town of Bryson City, or stop by and check out the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad train depot also located in downtown Bryson City about 15 minutes from the cabin. The Deep Creek entrance into the GSMNP is also located just outside of town, where you will find great hiking trails, 3 beautiful waterfalls, and during the Spring and Summer months, excellent mountain tubing! The Harrah's Casino, Oconaluftee River hiking trails & tubing, the popular Mingo & Soco waterfalls, and the Sequoyah National Golf Course are all located in Cherokee, NC about 25 minutes away. You can reach the Almond Boat Dock on Fontana Lake in about 20 minutes for some great swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing options! Or you can experience the exhilaration of white-water rafting, zip lining, and other adventurous excursions out in the Nantahala Gorge located about 20 minutes away.

Access Road:
This cabin is easily accessible by any vehicle and does not require any special 4WD/AWD capabilities. The roads to this cabin are not considered 'Motorcycle Friendly'.

Exterior :
The Blackberry Hideaway is a charming single level mountain cabin that overlooks beautiful Fontana Lake and Smoky Mountain views! Enjoy end of the road privacy at this mountain oasis with a paved driveway leading to the cabin for easy access. The cabin features a wonderful outside deck that really showcases the views and is equipped with a gas fire pit and cozy adirondack chairs for your relaxation pleasure!

Interior :
This cabin is all about the views and has a wonderful open floor plan that creates a spacious and welcoming atmosphere. The large living room is furnished with plush sofa seating that sits opposite flat screen tv. Please note that the wood burning fireplace you see in the living room is not functional and not listed as an amenity offered at this property. Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen and dining room areas outfitted with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a wonderful oblong dining room table with seating for 4. The spacious master bedroom is located down the hall and features a king size bed, walk in closets, and a set of french doors that lead you right out onto the deck. The en-suite bath is also located within the master bedroom and is equipped with a large sink vanity and tub/shower combo.

Pet Policy:
This cabin is NOT pet friendly. If prior approval has not been granted and a pet is discovered on the property, penalties will be imposed, including the immediate removal of the pet, eviction from the cabin, and forfeiture of all rental payments.
