We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Serendipity. A beautiful red fox greeted us as we unloaded the car. Then down at the water a loon swam right in front of the dock. That evening as we were relaxing outside on the deck a friendly chipmunk named Theodore ate peanuts from our hands. This is clearly a place where humans and wildlife feel completely at home. The water around the dock is deep enough for swimming and docking a boat. There is a marina right around the corner for filling up with gas. We used plenty on beautiful lake Muskoka, fishing, sightseeing, and dragging the kids around on the big inflatable tube. The inside space is also wonderful. A beautiful kitchen for cooking, a large dining table, pool table, ping-pong table, and foosball. There was plenty of space where the whole family could be together, but there were also many small spaces to read or have a private conversation. The worst part about staying at a place this beautiful is having to leave at the end of the week. Still, I'm sure the memories made here will last a lifetime. Thank you Maryanne for a wonderful Muskoka holiday!
