Enjoyed the stay at the property

The property is well equipped to have a pleasant vacation experience. Only feedback that I have is all the rest rooms door locks were not working

Great stay

It was a great beach house, clean and roomy, but the stovetop / oven did not work. Managment was on top of it and good enough to bring us a hotplate as a temporary fix, but we couldn't really cook full meals as we had planned for our weekend stay. Otherwise, we enjoyed the property immensely.

Galveston Get Away

The house was nice and close to the beach. It was short on supplies - no TP in each bathroom, one trash bag, no extras in the kitchen. None of these things are required, but have been in our other rentals. Note to next renter - bring your own. 5 yr olds have to potty right when you arrive!! Shopping is close for these items. We would rent again - and be more prepared. Great trip!!

A little disappointing

My sister and I stayed in this complex a few years back and had a great experience, which is why we came back. Unfortunately, this rental was not great. It did have comfortable beds (but no extra blankets in the two spare bedrooms), the kitchen was adequately equipped and the decor was nice, but it was downhill from there. To enter you climb a couple of flights of steps (which we expected), but there is no landing. The top step stops abruptly in front of the door making it awkward and a little dangerous when entering or exiting with luggage, etc. The bathrooms did not have extra toilet paper and only a tiny bit of hand soap in each that was more water than soap. One bathroom had a broken towel rack and a dirty hand towel in it. The floors are very cheaply finished with linoleum which is lumpy and wavy in places. The freezer in the fridge is all rusted. The curtains on the dining area are about to fall down. The light in the second bedroom was burned out and we had to bring a lamp in from the main bedroom. The air fresheners were empty but continued to attempt to spray without anything coming out. The TV remote did not work and there were no instructions on using the Amazon Fire. The check out instructions in the “Welcome” book did not match the ones we were emailed and the Internet connection information in the book was incorrect. There were no wash clothes or dish towels. The door handle to the balcony is about to come off. No extra trash bags. We won’t be back.
