Pictures can often exaggerate, but the Villa Chicken (Villa Bressanone) actually outshines the online presentation. The apartement, designed by a famous architect from South Tyrol in the late 1950s is a destination in itself. The house is spacious and rooms are big. Kitchen and living rome are spacious and well equipped. The outdoor area is very nice with a spledid view of Brixen. We were nine people (three generations) and had a wonderful week here in late August.
Brixen is a charming town with enough to offer so that you don't need to go further for restaurants or shopping. The distance from Villa Chicken to the city centre is a nice walk of about 10 minutes. Brixen and Villa Chicken is a percect base for exploring the Dolomites, with short distance to various parts of the Dolomites.
Host Felix and family was very helpful and provided valuable recommendations for things to do and to explore.
