Grindelwald

It was an all around great leg of the trip. Grindelwald is a great town that isn’t too crowded and pretty central or easy to travel to all that you want to see and do in the area. The hotel was also central to all of Grindelwald and was an easy5 minute walk from the train station. I would recommend all!

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Accommodations were ok. Restaurant was excellent. We stayed in the 1st floor of the guest house and it felt a little like sleep-away camp when we arrived. There was a plug-in air freshener that made the apartment smell cheap. It was very hot in the evenings and somewhat uncomfortable to sleep as the unit did not have air conditioning. We also were unaware of the minimum age requirement for the fitness center and spa. As a result, our 13 year old son, was asked to leave the fitness center and was not granted full use of the facility.

Double Check if booking with Hotel

At Check in they did not have the room available that we had booked - Room with Bunk Beds for our two Children aged 10 & 12. The only room they had available had a small double bed that was not suitable. We had booked through Hotels.com which had confirmed it would be a room with Bunk Beds but the Eiger Hotel refused to Honour this - although admitting they had set the room description up wrong on Hotels.com. The decor of the room was very 1970's and 80's as they are planning to convert the apartments into new suites shortly. This was fine, however the lack of investment lead to us having chairs with Broken legs (which came off). They did replace when asked buy it shows a lack of care and attention to customers.

Ich habe mich im dem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Mein Zimmer hatte eine kleine Küche und eine Terrasse. Das Hotel ist gut zu Fuß vom Bahnhof erreichbar und liegt zentral in der kleinen Stadt. Das Ein- bzw. Auschecken war sehr angenehm, Melanie ist sehr freundlich.

뷰 좋은데로 달라고 썼더니 진짜 엄청 좋은 곳 주셨네요 청소를 안해주시긴 하는데 처음엔 깨끗했어서 그냥 묵었어요 그리고 수건은 요청하면 갖다주십니다 추가 서비스도 정말 좋아요 헬스장에 퍼블릭 스파가 무료고 와인도 인당 한잔씩 무료로 줘요 그리고 근처 스포츠센터에서 무료로 수영도 할 수 있어서 정말 좋았어요 주방딸린 방이라 음식도 해먹을 수 있어 좋았네요 냉장고랑 후라이팬, 냄비 등 있어서 좋아요 대신 집게랑 가위 없어서 고기 먹으면 칼로 자르셔야 하고 전자레인지도 없는 것 같습니다 그린델발트 역이랑도 가깝고 피르스트 곤돌라 승강장이랑 쿱도 근처에 있어요 전체적으로 만족했습니다

alles super, appartement sauber, geräumig und zweckmässig eingerichtet. schöner spa-bereich! einziger kleiner minuspunkt: bei einem zimmertarif in dieser grössenordnung erwartet man eigentlich, das das parkfeld inbegriffen ist und nicht noch separat berechnet wird.

조용하고 편안함

호텔은 큰 길 가 닭장처럼 생긴 건물이고, 제가 묵은 아파트는 그 뒤편 샬레형태입니다. 호텔전용 주차장은 호텔 뒤에 있으나 아파트 건물 바로 옆에 주차하여 편리했고, 아주 조용합니다. 방 3개에 싱글 침대가 각각 2개씩, 방마다 옷장일고, 부엌에 각종 주방용품과 식기세척기 있고, 욕실에 샴푸 린스 샤워젤 구비. 헤어드라이어 성능 좋고, 6인용 식탁과 소파, 공간도 충분합니다. 겨울에 스키를 탈 때 유용한 스키 보관실이 1층에 별도로 마련되어 있고, 부츠는 객실 현관쪽에 보관하는 공간이 있습니다. 단점(?)은 아이거 뷰가 그리 시원하게 나오지 않는다는 점인데, 건물 뒤편인데다가 그라운드 플로어에 묵어서 어쩔 수 없었던 듯 합니다. 그래도 전혀 안보이는 것은 아니라 크게 나쁘지 않았습니다. 다음에 다시 또 이용할 의향이 있는 숙소입니다.
아파트: 1층 1실, 2층 2��실, 3층 1실. 주차를 공동 주차장이 아니라 건물 바로 옆에 해서 편리했음.

추천합니다.

위치가 좋습니다. 앞건물이 조금 가리지만 테라스에서의 뷰도 괜찮습니다. 4인 가족여행에 충분한 공간입니다. 추차하기 전 garage에서 먼저 짐을 내리시는게 편리합니다.

Just perfect

Absolutely perfect stay. The warmest welcome from the reception and super friendly service the whole time. Loved the spa facilities. Perfect to end a day in the snow. Location was excellent.

추천합니다

방이 세련되진 않았지만 깔끔했고 제 방의 경우 별관 느낌의 건물이었는데 아침에 테라스로 나와서 컵라면 먹는 게 최고였어요! 뷰도 짱... 다음에도 그린델발트에 묵게 된다면 다시 이곳에 있을 정도. 직원분들도 다들 매우 친절하십니다!
