Amazing Stay

What an amazing stay! Loved the condo. Very elegantly decorated and very comfortable. The condo is equipped for everything you need. We stayed one night to go see a comedy at the Bell Centre which was within walking distance. Loved the parking availability just across the street. I would definitely stay at his location for a longer period of time.

I liked the area and proximity to old Montreal. However, the room was not advertised correctly. It was mentioned 2 king beds and one queen.....the third bed was not a queen but a double. It was also a sofa bed. Not what we planned for 6 adults. Also, there weren't enough chairs for everyone in the kitchen. Only 4 chairs for 6 people. The staff was nice enough to give me a rebate for the inconvenience.

Hotel is apparently not ready to open. Electronic door to room did not work and no one was available to fix it. So I was left for 15 minutes waiting for someone to arrive and fix the room entrance. Also, lobby is completely unfinished.

We stayed in a one bedroom and very large one bathroom for two nights. There are laundry combination, dishwasher and refrigerator which makes the place feel home. I would love to stay longer and it was pretty safe to walk to old downtown. There's also a grocery store conveniently located one block away and a cafe's for a short walk. Once you received an email from them, make sure to let them know if you have a car with you. They only have one spot for you. Only down side was when there was a fire alarm and there was no announcement that its safe to return in our rooms. One of the units accidentally triggered the fire alarm and most of the younger residents were able to rush downstairs. When it was verified it was safe by the receptionist, some residents who are mostly older and heard the alarm late, were still rushing down. I wish they can put a voice announcement in the building that it was all clear. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Mercer Boutique Hotel. It was our first time in Montreal (and Canada) and our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 young children) could not have felt more welcome. Some things to know when booking this hotel- 1. There is a receptionist/employee at the front desk at all times 2. The parking is in a lot across the street from the hotel and is included in the cost of the room 3. There is an elevator into the hotel but it takes 3-4 steps to get from the street into the hotel so it may be hard with a wheelchair 4. There is a grocery store (IGA) and playground around the corner 5. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance and you can get to the subway/underground city in about 15 minutes 6. There was laundry in our unit which was incredibly convenient, as was the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathrooms 7. The room/suite and common areas were incredibly clean Hope this helps, we'll book here again if we ever return to Montreal!

It's a mini-hotel to say the best... The entire building was more an abandoned industrial warehouse. Room was clean BUT the facility is very old.

This property is stunning! The pictures don’t lie - impeccably decorated and quite honestly the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! The front desk employees are lovely and extremely helpful. The location is a perfect spot - easy walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants. Definitely we will be back! Thank you Mercer for a lovely stay!

Spotless, well appointed. Great location.

We are a family of four and found the Superior 2BR/2BA perfect for us. Plenty of space for everyone. The reception staff is so friendly and helpful, especially Abdul who had a smile and kind word for everyone. Everything was clean and fresh, all appliances worked well, including the washer and dryer. I personally enjoyed the Nespresso machine. We were on the second floor, so we could hear street noise like people talking and traffic, but this is to be expected. The street itself is pretty quiet so it wasn't terribly intrusive. My one wish is that in the main BR with ensuite BA, there needs to be a lamp or sconce, some source of light in addition to the super bright overhead ceiling lights. We loved Mercer and would book it again!
