It's a ski lodge in the Alps. Gorgeous surroundings. The room had a living area, small kitchen, and bedroom.

We booked a stay for July 19th 2024. We were going to stay one night after watching the Tour de France on Isola 2000. We left early in the morning with a Eta of 11am. They closed the road at 10am 9 miles from the hotel. The tour was going to finish around 5pm. We had to turn around. It was crazy traffic. We contacted the Sowell via email through expedia and the email they sent us. It was a special situation and we would like a refund. They never answered both emails. Very disappointed..

Une expĂ©rience unique mais plutĂŽt nĂ©gative. A l’arrivĂ©e dans la chambre d’hĂŽtel, les lits ne sont pas fait (car ils fonctionnent comme ça). Sauf que c’est indiquĂ© nulle part sur l’app. Ensuite le jour du dĂ©part, il faut dĂ©faire tous les lits et mettre le linge avec les serviettes dans la baignoire. Sans oublier qu’on doit aussi nettoyer la petit cuisine et sortir la poubelle. Bref aucun rapport avec un hĂŽtel mais plutĂŽt and BnB. Toutes les chambres donnent sur l’espace du petit dĂ©jeuner. RĂ©veil obligatoire avec le bruits (surtout les enfants en bas Ăąge qui sont mal Ă©duquĂ©s, et il y en a). En dehors de ça, pour les points positifs : super petit dĂ©jeuner TrĂšs bon rapport qualitĂ© prix hors saison

Un peu déçu par l'hotel

L'hÎtel est idéalement situé, le personnel attentif. Par contre la salle de restauration au centre des espaces de nuit est à mon avis une idée saugrenue. Cela génÚre un bruit de fond aux horaires des repas qui remonte dans les chambres ! De plus les aller et venues incessants dans les coursives n'est certainement pas trÚs hygiénique pour les plateaux du petits-dejeuners situé à disposition en bas. Nota bene : le coût était exhorbitant pour un soit-disant 4*

Des points à améliorer

Personnel trĂšs aimable et compĂ©tent. Petite surprise Ă  l’arrivĂ©e: le supplĂ©ment de 10 euros pour mon chien. Les chambres sont trĂšs mal isolĂ©es, on entend les voisins parler, les portes qui claquent
 Le balcon n’était pas amĂ©nagĂ© (aspect beton et pas de chaises pour s’asseoir) c’est dommage sachant que ces chambres sont plus chĂšres. Les horaires de checkin et checkout ne sont pas trĂšs pratiques. Les serviettes ne nous ont Ă©tĂ© distribuĂ©es qu’à 19h. A part ca, la chambre Ă©tait propre, le lit confortable. Mais je m’attendais Ă  de meilleures prestations pour le prix et le fait que l’établissement ait 4 Ă©toiles.

Parfait pour un skieur forcené comme moi

Le parcours du combattant pour trouver le lieu Je connais la station depuis sa crĂ©ation et connaissais l'hĂŽtel Chastillon oĂč j'allais Ă  l'Ă©poque. D'aprĂšs le plan communiquĂ© par Hotels.com la rĂ©sidence se trouvait loin de cet hĂŽtel et personne dans la station ne connaissait la rĂ©sidence sous ce nom En fait il s'agit de l'hĂŽtel rebaptisĂ© mais il a mal vielli. PropretĂ© moyenne des cheveux dans la baignoire et des taches sur la couette. Il ne fallait pas ouvrir le frigo qui Ă©tait sale Le local Ă  ski est peu pratique et sent ( pue) l'humiditĂ©. Par contre l'emplacement directement sur les pistes est de premiĂšre qualitĂ©. Un lieu parfait pour skier avec la premiĂšre remontĂ©e et rentrer aprĂšs la fermeture de la derniĂšre remontĂ©e mĂ©canique.

Thank you to your lovely front of house - we were a bit stressed about getting back to Nice airport as the options seemed limited- thanks for helping us get bus options (so much cheaper than the Uber we got up from the airport!!!) after taxi options seemed difficult (and thanks for calling around different local companies for us before we went for the bus option)

Le logement Ă©tait situĂ© face Ă  la salle de petit dĂ©jeuner avec une isolation sonore et lumineuse insuffisante : il aurait fallu un sas. Il manque des tables de nuit et un paillasson pour Ă©viter de souiller le sol avec la neige. RapportĂ© au prix, je trouve cela un peu Ă©levĂ©. Pas de stationnement sur place, le parking public est en contrebas mais souvent plein si l’on arrive pas en fin de journĂ©e. First of all there wasn't anyone speaking English so a lot of confusion. And some smaller problems such as it was broken locks at our balcony door , lower floor so it was possible to get in from outside... Whole place felt like a ghost town. Maybe better in the winter... Bad feeling with ghost town and unlocked doors.
