Very responsive and accommodating host. Room was clean and comfy. Only thing that can be improved will be the aircon and soundproofing of the room cos it can get noisy in the morning with traffic. Other than that I’m satisfied with my stay. Highly recommendable!

I recently made a booking through Expedia to stay at Papaya Maison Hanoi. I landed in Hanoi on 26/10/25 at 21:30 and received a WhatsApp message from the hotel telling us that our reservation had been cancelled due to a “power cut”. We have had 0 communication through Expedia regarding a cancellation or a refund for that matter. Our money has been taken and we were left without accommodation very last minute. I have requested evidence of this “power cut”, evidence of them having reached out to Expedia and evidence of a refund plus 20% compensation to be forwarded to my email but have received nothing further from the supposed “hotel”. Expedia have got back to us saying they are unable to get a hold of the property manager and are therefore unable to waiver their “no cancellation” fee. We believe we have been scammed and that this so called property does not even exist. The fact that they are unable to even operate through Expedia is a joke.
