Cumbres del Martial is a quaint lodge at the end of the road to the Martial Glacier. The room was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was included and there was a decent selection of items to choose from. We ate dinner there as well and found the food to be okay. The best feature is its proximity to the walk up to the glacier, which is a lovely hike. We appreciated spending our last night in Ushuaia in this mountain area.

Staff was great. Loved the quiet and the walk up towards the glacier. If you like pastries, their tea room is just the place for you. Excellent pastries.

Es una encantadora cabaña ubicada en un entorno natural hermoso. La cabaña es amplia, cómoda, calefacción excelente, cama muy cómoda, y el jacuzzi es fabuloso. El desayuno es excelente también, especialmente los pasteles que son deliciosos. La casa de té es encantadora, al igual que la cabaña. Esta en ubicación perfecta para descansar y hacer trekking al glaciar Martial y alrededores. Muy lejos para ir al centro, a comer o a recorrer la ciudad (a menos que se cuente con coche). Lo mejor de todo es probablemente la atención, todo el personal es más que amable. Nos quedamos en nuestra luna de miel y recibimos obsequio de cortesía y fuimos atendidos de lo mejor. Volvería y lo recomiendo!!

The setting for the property was beautiful. The rooms were comfortable and well furnished. The kitchenette area in the room was one of its best features. It was a beautiful sunroom and had everything necessary for cooking. The staff also very attentive. The evening treats delivered to the room were most welcome. The hotel restaurant was excellent.

Beautifully situated in the mountains, our cabin felt like a little piece of heaven. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the daily homemade treats that were delivered to our cabin. All round, a great stay!

Mountain time.

Rustic setting, mountains, streams beautiful views. Great hiking right outside your door. Pleasant rooms. About a 15 minute ride to town, taxis are not expensive. If you dont want to party in town, and want some mountain time..do this.

Cabañas a lado del glaciar Martial

Pasamos 3 noches en estas cabañas, las cuales son muy amplias y equipadas. Nos llamo mucho la atención que estando donde están, tengan tanta basura debajo de las escaleras de recepción, de las cabañas, etc. El desayuno está muy bien y muy variado. El personal es eficiente. El hotel está a 20min en Remis del centro de la ciudad , calculen que cada remis sale en 190pesos por trayecto aprox.

Assolutamente al di sotto delle promesse

L'elevato prezzo e le ottime recensioni traggono in inganno. L'albergo potrebbe essere molto gradevole ma è mal curato, abbastanza sporco e privo di personale di reception e accoglienza. Non ci sono servizi, è lontano dal centro e la struttura non offre navette di sorta. La vista tanto publicizzata sul canale è totalmente ostruita da alberi. La spa è chiusa. Lo chef è assente. Ci sono lavori di ampliamento delle camere iniziati ed interrotti che offrono vista poco affascinante dalle finestre. Abbiamo provato ripetutamente a chiedere di parlare con la manager/proprietaria ma non si è mai fatta viva e la labile promessa di sconto offertaci dal gentile stagista che ci ha accolti è caduta nel vuoto.

Last Minute Trip

This was a last minute trip for me, and this happened to be the only room available online due to the summer season. I was so worried about the location and the rooms. I just wanted to stay in a normal hotel, but I'm so glad I did not! This was the best, last minute trip planning EVER! Absolutely adorable rooms, very cozy. I loved the decor and details. Every night I got a tray with cookies, bottled water and the next days weather report. The food, baked goods and tea at the Tea Room are fantastic. Not to mention...it's at the base of a glacier to which you can hike. That was one of the best days thanks to proper planning. (Go on a sunny day if possible) The staff was amazing and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I even got to know two of the workers pretty well and plan on keeping in touch with them. Antonella was tireless in her efforts to make sure my stay was amazing. Anything I needed throughout the day, she was happy to assist: ordering taxis, getting a last minute bagged lunch prepared, setting up excursions when two of my prepared excursions were cancelled, and of course just striking up conversation when I was chilling alone in the Tea Room. Dani would always entertain me at night with conversation while I had my nightly tea and she prepared for closing. This little getaway was everything and more than I could have wished and I would do it all over again.
