Good value and lovely staff

Had a lovely (basic but perfect for us) two-roomed flat with kitchenette, bathroom and balcony overlooking the Marmara sea. Very nice staff and close to transport, sites, etc. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

really bad hotel.

Lived in the STUDIO for 2 nights. NOTHING of what that stood in the presentation of the facilities of the room was like realtime. "Free bottle of water" - the refrigator was totally empty. "LCD-TV" - there were not even "Black & White-TV". "Coffee percolator" - didn't work. "Slippers" - there were none. "Safety-box in room" - there were none. "Room-service 24/7" - There weren't even any reception 24/7. "Premium beds" - 2 single beds were put together to act like a kingsize bed. 2 single beds in different heights, so it was impossible to sleep in the middle of the bed and you had to lay on your own side. And there were no micro vawe as in the pictures of the studio. And at the top of all of these failures, the manager of the hotel Mr. Ahmed couldn't speak English and was very unpolite. The only good thing about the apartment hotel was the location close to the sightseeings. I have lived in many hotels with only 3 stars, but this Sur apartment hotel didn't earned even 2 stars.

Everything was fine until the morning. We had paid the hotel manager 10 euros to get us the shuttle to the airport at 2:45 am. We waited for 30 minutes and then called the shuttle. They said they came by 3 times and in order for them to come back, we needed to pay them 20 euros. I know it is not the manager's fault, but they shouldn't use a fraudulous company. If I can get the website, I would like to get a refund from the manager for the 10euros.

Professional warm hospitality

We were searching for a rental car (a daunting task) and the hotel staff, the manager, was extremely helpful. He researched all the details and then upon our approval scheduled the car delivery and pick up. We were impressed because the price of the car was extremely fair in addition to the gracious and excellent service provided. The booking for the room was made only hours prior to our arrival, and although we were not able to stay in the same room the second night, we loved both rooms and they made the transfer very easy! We returned later for one more night and that room was even better. Some rooms had a small kitchenette and an iron and an ironing board. The staff suggested various transport options to the airport, made the reservations days in advance and followed through with each detail to ensure a timely arrival taking into consideration Friday rush hour traffic. Great place for this price.
