Nice hotel with good locatin

It is a good hotel with good location. You can walk to MG road. Restaurant is good.The staff is excellent especially Bikash who went out of his way to help. Their outsourced travel service is a weak link. Transfer from Bagdogra to hotel was disappointing with a rash driver and a small taxi with poor springs that made for a very uncomfortable trip on a bumpy road. We were promised a trip to Tsomgo lake and Baba Mandir but the driver would not go to Baba Mandir. I would look for another travel company rather than the one on premises. Overall, good value for money.

Good but needs minor improvements

Hotel was good and reception was very good. However I noticed two things that could be improved. We stayed for a couple of nights. The bed was very soft and was giving a back ache. It would be good for one night stays but for longer stays, the beds are soft. Second was the bathrooms didn’t have floor towels or mats. After the shower the bathroom floor gets wet and has high probability of slipperiness. Not good for old people.

Excellent Breakfast. The spread was huge and delicious!! Clean and large rooms. However, noisy guest did not allow a good sleep.

We had an excellent stay. It was just one night stay for us while returning from silk route trip. Location is great. MG Marg is just 5 minutes walk. Staff was very friendly and service was great. We will sure come back.
