Nice quiet location. Very much enjoyed ducks around the property and tranquil setting. Pool was available and that was a bonus. Advised to bring toilet rolls and towels which were in the property. Lodges are dated. Hot tap in lodge 16 was more of a dribble. WiFi was reasonable and free.

Great accommodation and well equipped for our stay . Enjoyed the on-site restaurant and kids loved the swimming pool. Lovely area and Landmark just down the road which the kids enjoyed the most .

Individual Cabins in the woods, surrounded by water and wildlife. Great experience. A car is needed as although the town is not far it is not really accessible by walking. Would definitely stay there again.

Let’s get the bad out of our chests: the checkin-in period and customer service of this property is terrible. We had to rush from Edinburgh up to the Highlands (3-hour drive) because check-in time was only between 17:00-19:00. We rushed to find the reception building, and arrived at 19:00 sharp only to find the key inside an envelope with my name and the cottage number on it plastered on the door. Reception had closed. They did send an email around 17:30 which I saw too late. So a phone call to your guest would’ve been in order? Once you settle down in your cabin, though, it’s a totally different experience. The cabin had a winter garden for a dining area, so it was such a delight to eat meals there with the ducks knocking on the glass. It’s a dream accommodation if you’re looking for a cabin-in-the-woods type. Tranquility is next level. It also features a well-equipped kitchen, hot water (toiletries would’ve been appreciated). I wish they would upgrade the bathrooms next. Highly recommended if you’re looking for being with nature more than 5-star amenities.

Great wee place!

We had a lovely stay at lochanhully and can't fault much at all. The only thing I'd say would be that the mattresses could do with updating & it was a shame that the bar/restaurant wasn't open.

Great location . Chalet a bit tired and perhaps a more thorough clean of the wooden walls ( very dusty ) lacking a couple of essential kitchen utensils but not a huge issue and reception informed on checkout . All staff we came across were lovely . Will certainly return as great location for the dog

Great place for 2 nights after we were let down elsewhere but the whole place is a bit tired, I wouldn't really call it a resort, it's just a few static caravans around a duck pond but good location for visiting Aviemore and Cairngorms.

Location is great. Little things only - A bit litter around the cabin outside area, a few bits of cutlery dirty, cabin needs a bit of an upgrade, a few bulbs not working, grit or salt on walkway, some facilities not available. Still an overall great experience.

So peaceful!

The peace & quiet here was amazing! Other guests were respectful & the only noise in the morning was the ducks looking for food. Our lodge was dated but comfortable. There were a few minor issues but nothing that affected our stay. So in summary the accommodation is not luxurious but the location & setting are wonderful if it’s a quiet break you are looking for.
