Even for someone backpacking, this property was unlivable for any breathing creature. Upon arrival to the property there was a bad damp smell and must about the place. Also to add, this property is something less than a standard pull behind camper. The beds were musty and so unbearably uncomfortable that even with a silent night you would be tossing and turning. The connecting rooms made any slight movement from other guests feel like an earthquake to our room. The close by interstate also added to the circus going on around the property. The window to the shower was broken and could not be closed, so during a light rainstorm our bathroom didn't have a chance to stay dry. This shower denied any waterproof factors and caused the floor to be soggy and falling apart while soaking the entire floor. Throughout our stay we experienced the most humid climate that if a spore were to sprout from the bed I wouldn't be the least bit surprised. Something in the mattress and pillows caused me to have the most intense acne breakout I've had since my adolescent days, I hesitate to even suggest there may have been mold growing in them but that may be the case with how wet our room stayed all weekend. Just to add, don't try plugging in any electronics in this space, as our laptop met it's maker after shorting out when just sitting in this jungle. I wish I could say more but there is a word limit for this review.

I had a great time and experienced no issues. I did see one of the receptionist yell at a client who was experiencing issues with their keys. Overall, the breakfast was a 4/10 for the price. They do have laundry and an atm available so that was amazing. The room itself was beautiful and location was easy to access.

I would have given the experience 5 stars except for the on-site restaurant staff. Not all but quite a few were hostile and rude. They made no effort to be gracious or kind to guests. The emphasis was more on quick efficient process of order taking and delivery. Very little focus was given to presentation or quality in the purchased breakfast. One morning, the meat was all raw. Guests tried to tell staff that it was not safe for consumption, but they would not listen. So no one ate the meat.

Really fun & reasonable place to stay near Venice. Resort has multiple buses going to & from Venice every day. Comfy & quiet room in modular unit. Good restaurant.
