Beautiful scenery. Comfy bed, in particular the sheets and blanket were so soft and cozy. Great pillows!!

Anna and Joe and the rest of the staff were friendly, had loads of information, focused on the guests, and were highly organized. My grandson is 11, and it was such joy for him to have two days of fishing. The trout were biting, and the weekend was glorious.

Will always stay here

We've been coming here for years, so we can ski at the best Nordic Center in Colorado. Also we've come here to mountain bike, hike, and canoe in summer. Anna and Jan are always friendly and helpful.

The property was a beautiful surprise. Gorgeous drive. Staff was great welcoming and helpful.The cabin was perfect and had all necessities. Comfortable bed with space heater more than enough to keep room at perfect temperature. We were there for one night but will be back.

The area is beautiful but the room was too small to comfortably sleep the number we had reserved for. The room had very thin curtains which interfered with evening activities. Also the staff was either mistaken or less than honest when they talked about our pre check in conversations. They blamed the problems on Expedia

Was great place to stay for the 2 nights were there during the down season. Very friendly family owned. Only recommendations we woukd make is to seperate the hot from the cold breakfast since oatmeal is hot as well. Just a little confusing but even if you get confused, the price is very doable.

Our cabin was switched after I made the reservation. I didn't think it would be a problem, however the floors in our cabin were so soft and unsafe that the dining chairs felt like you were falling through. It was scary. When I mentioned it to the manager they started talking poorly about us in another language. It appeared that way anyhow since there were eyerolls made. He said the cabin was just remolded. Other than the floors, it was alright. The road traffic was kind of noisy but that's because the location and no fault of the owners. We will not be back to that cabin #1 specifically. Maybe the others are better.

The cabin was cozy but adequate, bed was comfy. The view from the cabin was beautiful. The owners are polish and cooked the most incredible polish platter for us for dinner. Sausage, pirogies, stuffed peppers, potato salad, sourkraut plus homemade tiramisu for dessert. Call ahead for hours, they closed at 5pm. Breakfast had homemade pastries that melt in your mouth. I would stay here again!

If you don't have a snow mobile don't go in the winter. You have to hike approx 1000 ft uphill in 2 ft of snow with very little light.

A good, peaceful "cabin in the woods" experience with views of the forest and lake. Great night skies where you can see the Milky Way. Do yourself a favor and try some of the Polish food at the lodge, it's excellent! Wifi is available only at the lodge, which does close. No cell signal in this area. The water pressure in the shower isn't great, so go easy on the shampoo.

The area, like all of the Grand Mesa we saw, was gorgeous. BUT, the staff was brusk, inhospitable and combative. The cabin had no heat, and was 48 degrees inside. When we complained to the owner, she bluntly said “that’s not cold”, that there was nothing she could do because the inspector had not been out to certify the heater yet and that she was unable to make a price adjustment because Expedia took her profit margin. I’ve never met a ruder person in the hospitality business.

This was an interesting property. Our reservation was for 3 cabins but only 2 were reserved. I had receipts and we got 3. The cabins were really nice. Snow made walking to the cabins treacherous. The views are beautiful. It would be great in summer. Several things on the restaurant menu were unavailable but what we had was excellent. Breakfast was included but was very limited with little choice. The pictures of food on the Expedia site are VERY misleading. That being said, we did enjoy the visit. We put it under the adventure column of our travels. Our young children had a great time playing in the snow even if they were not appropriately dressed. I would recommend the property for warm weather. There is deep snow until mid to late June.
