Fantastic, perfect, great location and holiday

Great place to stay, just ideal, so close to Azay-le-Rideau. Boulangerie a minute walk, a little bar across the road. The house is larger than it looks in the photos, had everything we needed. Recommend staying here. No wi-fi but thats fine. Road works at the moment in the village, so tricky to get in and out of village. Would stay again we liked it that much.

The cottage is very tastefully presented and the accommodation easy to use; the little garden is charming. The downside is the attention to detail on maintenance and cleaning. The windows weren’t clean and the bathroom Velux looked like it hadn’t ever been cleaned. One bedroom window blind wouldn’t work. The shower glass and cubicle wasn’t clean to the level we would expect. The cooker hob is ceramic and doesn’t produce much heat even on full. The property does not have Wifi, which was probably listed correctly, but the lack of mobile signal strength makes doing anything online a bit of a pain. And we weren’t warned about the major sanitation roadworks which were ongoing almost directly outside - this would have been good at least to have understood in advance.

Road works have indeed generated dust and unusually dirty windows. That's life ! For the rest, we do our best to receive our guests in the best possible conditions. the usual comments lead us to think that this corresponds to the level of requirement of almost all of them. for the wifi, it is a choice on our part and this is clearly explained in the announcement. You have to be careful from the start.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus in der Nähe zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten

Die Ferienwohnung hat uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen! Der kleine Garten war gestaltet, was uns besonders gut gefallen hat. Er lud zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein und war eine grüne Oase, die den Aufenthalt sehr bereichert hat. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung war sehr individuell und liebevoll ausgewählt, was eine gemütliche Atmosphäre geschaffen hat. Es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

J'y retournerai !

J'aime beaucoup la maison de Caroline et son petit jardin (le temps nous a permis d'en profiter). Nous y étions déjà venues il y a 14 ans, quand mes filles étaient encore petites. La maison est très confortable et nous y avons passé d'agréables soirées pour récupérer de nos excursions à vélo. C'est un très bel endroit !

Ideales Ferienquartier für eine Schlössertour entlang von Loire und Indre

Wer eine zentral gelegene Unterkunft an der Loire bzw. Indre und ein Domizil für bis zu vier Personen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das von außen unscheinbare Ferienhaus in Cheillé ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und verfügt über einen Wohn-, Koch- und Essbereich mit allen notwendigen Utensilien, zwei Schlafzimmer (ein Doppelbett, zwei Einzelbetten), Bad und separates WC. Durch eine kleine Steinterrasse, die grün eingewachsen ist, gibt es zudem ein schönes Plätzchen draußen, um etwa die Abende zu genießen. Auch die Lage erscheint ideal. Zum Schloss von Azay-le-Rideau und dem hübschen Ortszentrum sind es nur zehn Minuten Fußweg. Außerdem sind von hier aus die verschiedensten Schlösser an Loire und Indre (L'Islette, Saché, Ussé, Villandry, Langeais) mit dem Rad sehr gut und schnell zu erreichen. Alle weiteren Ziele lassen sich problemlos mit dem Autor erkunden (Tours, Chinon, Chambord, Chenonceau, Blois etc.). Auch die Kommunikation mit der freundlichen Vermieterin läuft schnell und reibungslos. Wir haben uns hier rundum wohl gefühlt und einen tollen Urlaub genossen. Von uns gibt es deshalb eine absolute Empfehlung!

Ideally Situated

On arrival we found that parking was very tight, and during the stay, often unavailable. Fridge needs a deep clean and the more inaccesible places(behind toilet etc.) a hoovering. Cooking utensils are a bit tired, but useable. Be aware there are no instruction manuals for oven, microwave, fridge. The provision of a can opener would have been very useful As mentioned in earler comments, the settee is not too comfortable and mind your toes on the metal base at the foot of the stairs It would have been nice to watch some of the dvd library, if there had been a dvd player available. The property is ideally situated for the many, many Chateaux in the area. Indeed, after a week we were "all Chateau'd out" The owners were easily contactable and very amenable. All in all a very pleasant stay in a nice little cottage
