Good location. We were able to walk to some spots or take a short drive (10mins or less) for most we visited around Portland. Host communicated well and very responsive. Great place, clean and plenty of room for 2-3 people.
My brother in law and I stayed here while my husband was hospitalized at the Maine Med and it was a lovely property. Everything was clean and organized, check in was easy and the hosts were responsive and kind. I would stay here again!
Nice apartment, and very clean. It was stocked with pots/pans/dishes so we were able to make a dinner. Holy Doughnuts was just around the corner and is a must visit for coffee and yummy doughnuts. Parking was a little challenging, but once we found a spot, we left the car there and just ubered , super easy! Host was very helpful and communication was excellent! We would stay here again for sure.
Our stay was phenomal!! From the communication with the hosts to the coziness and cleanliness of this place, it was perfect! Highly suggest for a visit, and the location is perfect! Parking sucks, but it’s Portland not the hosts fault!
We had a very nice stay here. Liz was a great hostess and super available. Unit as described. As noted, there is no private parking available but we found a spot on the street easily enough.
Excellent apartment, even better property manager!
The property manager truly made our stay memorable. She was friendly, responsive, and incredibly generous. Much better service than you would receive staying at a hotel !
Dan and Liz were in great communication the entirety of our stay. Location was also great. There was some amount of street and neighbor noise, but it didn’t keep us awake.
The location was perfect. Easy to walk anywhere! My partner and I rented bikes from the city supplied bike service—they were 800ft away! Also ate at several places within a 10 minute walk. Our host was VERY kind and hospitable. Book this place.
Easy place to find, plenty of room, WiFi worked great, ironing board was nice to have. Check-in and check-out was very easy. Parking was a bit of an issue so we decided to cab everywhere. Although Uber and Lyft weren’t helpful (granted it was it a holiday weekend) but the local taxi staff and rides were excellent.
Great place, perfect location
Parking is a bit annoying and the extra fees are almost as much as the nightly rate- this seems underhanded.

Thanks for the review! To be honest, parking can be a bit annoying at times. I live in the building, so I get it. But Portland as a whole is a tiny peninsula jutting into the bay, and there just simply isn’t much parking at all.
As to any extra fees, we don’t charge any “extra fees.” The only thing we charge is our nightly rate + the cleaning fee we have to pay to the cleaners. We are not a hotel with 200 rooms that can pay housekeepers to be on staff and clean as people check out. We have to pay a housekeeper, who usually has a three hour window (12pm-3pm) to clean. In this three hours she has to try to make a decent living cleaning multiple places. Because I work during the day and cannot come home to clean in the middle of the work day.
Lastly, I would like to point out that any other fees/taxes are either government taxes required by law to be collected, or VRBO fees. ALL of which you could clearly see before you booked. If you were just going to complain about the fees and slight me by calling me “underhanded,” then why not just BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. Seems underhanded…
The property was in a great location -- outside of all the high traffic areas, but within easy walking distance. Beautiful park a block away. Plenty of places to grab a bite, or a drink. Daniel kept in touch the whole time. We had no issues, but knew that, if we did, they would be handled quickly. Great place!
Great location with walking access to the city center. Must be comfortable with street parking. The kitchen is fully stocked with what you need to cook. We all have different standards of cleanliness and the apartment was not up to my particular standard.
This apartment is as shown online. It is conveniently located to a main bus route, a very nice park and some good restaurants.
Hosts were very friendly and were keen to ensure my stay went well.
Be prepared for some noise from the street and air traffic but nothing major.
Suggest both Quiero Cafe, Pai Men Miyake for close restaurants.
Portland has a lot to offer. Hope to visit again soon.
We were happy with this property. We arrived in a snow storm and Daniel and Liz made sure we knew that there was a city wide parking ban and all the places we were allowed to put our car. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Daniel and Liz were very responsive and friendly via their messages!
This was a fine place to stay for a night if you have plans and are just sleeping. We would not have enjoyed hanging out in the place. It is small, and lacks adequate seating. It is also not the most clean place we have stayed (e.g., stains on fabric chairs).
But it for the job done and was a fair price for a night in Portland during peak season.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
Would not stay again.
Bring earplugs. Fire engines blasting sirens, blaring horns multiple times over our 48-hr stay. Traffic sounds as if we bordered a hwy.
Confirmed there is no parking anytime.
No toaster. Broiled bread slices in oven.
Find toilet paper before being seated. Partial skeleton of holder is on wall. (TP behind on back of tank.)
Sole towel rack accompanies just 1 towel and facecloth.
Tiny, low table w 2 much higher chairs unsuitable for dining.
Very comfy mattress. Liked the keypad entry.
The apartment was exactly what we expected it to be and was very convenient for our one night stay allowing us to walk to many different areas. We had a great time thank you.
