Nice if you are looking for an olde worlde place.

This property is like a guest lodge that has been transported from Europe in the last century. Set on pretty forest acreage, there are views across the water. If you are looking for a contemporary hotel experience this might not be right for you. The place is family run with continental breakfast - ideal for visiting Europeans who are feeling homesick.

Not really good as they are not co operating on several issues like housekeeping and so on. At night, there is not enough light. It's very dark.

Very peaceful. Chalet set in 80+ acres of bushland. Tennis court, swimming pool + spa, lounges to sit and read all noteworthy. However room (ocean view) was slightly small and dated. Continental breakfast included was sufficient but likely to be boring if staying for more than 2 days. Bottomless coffee! Hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

Charming venue

The place was very cute and had a nice appeal. Kangaroos in the paddock as you drive up. Lots of trees. Nice looking main building. But the room for a family was ridiculously small and the bed was so hard. Very bad night sleep with a big day of driving ahead. Was not there long enough to look around much or enjoy the lovely grounds.

The condition of the building is getting tired. In its hay day it would have been a very place to stay at.

Traditional bliss

Staying at the Chalet was like being wrapped up in a big warm hug...if you want super modern then it will not float your boat...but we say you will not know what you are missing...super cosy, so clean it amazes and Elizabeth and Herbert are the nicest couple. The location is wonderful and it feels like your a million miles from the hussle and bussle but in truth only ten minutes from The Bay, restaurants, clubs..whatever you want. Breakfast was included and was simple and enjoyable...perfect! The Chalet is so big and it really feels like you are in Europe..we will return...my parents would love it so we plan to bring them with us soon...we will enjoy sitting by the big fire once again with a glass of red and will not forget to pack the walking shoes next time.

Beautiful Location

We were unable to stay as long as we would have liked. The location is stunning, and the buildings are evocative and well worth investigating. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The views, bushwalking, swimming pool and spa made this an unexpected oasis of calm. We will be back.

Enjoy

The staff were very friendly. The rooms have the 'Chalet Swisse' style. It does have an aged style, so enjoy it for that. The surrounding bush land provides a great walk with plenty of wild life. The view of the ocean if great. Enjoy

Such a pretty setting with gorgeous coastal views. Original owners for 27 years Herbert and Elizabeth make you feel welcome from the minute you meet them. Had fun with archery on site.

Not Swiss, but a Squeeze not worth !!

This was a stay worth forgetting, wish never decided the stopover in this ridiculous place, with hosts hard bent upon squeezing every cent out of you, for anything they can claim a reason on. It was eerie in this place, though we were the only guests staying, completely empty otherwise, the hostess found the little cramped up and the worst room at the back of the property, with all other rooms empty!!!. Not worth half the money you pay for. The only good thing about the place is the surrounding landscape, if one is interested in nature outlook. The breakfast was a joke, with a time limit of 30 minutes from 8.30 for serving the cold breakfast of juice, bread and cereal. Beware if you check in late, there is an additional $50 charged over the ridiculous room rate !! It is not Swiss, it's a Squeeze !!
