I didn’t end up staying at the Sunrise because the room wasn’t ready when I got there so they move me to their other property Casa Pellegrino Boutique Hotel which was ok with me. The room was clean & comfortable. The area very quite and one minute from the beach.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) – Friendly staff, but room type did not match booking
I stayed one night after booking through Expedia and selected a suite, which was described as a larger room with additional sleeping space compared to the standard option.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and I truly appreciated being allowed to check in early. The room was clean and well maintained, which made the stay comfortable.
However, the room I received did not appear to match the suite category I booked. The size and layout were consistent with a standard room rather than the larger option described at the time of booking.
Overall, the experience was mixed:
• Friendly and helpful staff
• Clean room
• Room type did not match what was reserved
I recommend confirming the room category at check-in to ensure it aligns with the booking details. With better attention to this, the experience could be improved.

Few blocks from beach. Property is actually multiple apt hotel buildings all owned by same company so building you thought were staying in is not the same as actual building and actual can be further away from beach. Check in process was long and tedious. First room I was assigned still had people staying in it. Second room I was assigned I had someone try to enter because they were assigned the room later on in the day. Room itself looks tired but was clean and comfortable. Definite signs of wear and tear but everything worked as it was supposed to.
Parking is not listed that it’s $20 a day. It did have a prime location. It did have plenty of room. Being that it is so close to the beach the floor was filled with sand from the time we walked in.

Its a nice property. But once again ripped off at check In . They charged me 20 to park on top of a resort . I just looked at my check in recipet and there is a resort fee for 17.50 and extra person fee of 25. . So there for iam beind ripped off for 39 dollars yester day and at least the 25 dollar for an extra guest fee . Thats a total of at least 65

Deceptive photos. They bought all the old prostitute motels and rebranded them. I was placed on the street side in an unsafe location. The pool was nasty and the breakfast scene was trashy. Never again.
The property isn’t worth the price. Broken doors, leaking and not properly working shower, stinky room, not enough pots or pans, no coffee or tea. The free breakfast is really nothing and operates only 1 hour from 8-9am, serving hundreds of people. Very cheap, bad and poor management.

This place should not be on the Hotels.com application. False advertisement, rooms smelled smoky although it was suppose to be a 'smoke free' environment, this is false. We had 2 rooms, not ready, smoky, rude receptionist, sketchy cigerettes o the ground and uneven side walks, a trip disaster. This is the first time I've taken the time to do a review

It took 2 hours to check in, then the door got deactivated the next day had to go back and wait to get it reactivated. One way in and out the office and just not friendly. The manager was nice besides that not good. One good thing is very close to the beach and boardwalk the rest is a no for me

When we first pulled up and saw that the pictures online weren’t exactly an accurate representation of what we were looking at i was hopeful that the outside would be deceiving, it was not. The check in line was 10 people long, probably because they have one check in for like 12 different properties. The lady at the counter was very brusque and rude. When we got to our room the was supposed to have king, queen, and oversized twin beds, there were two queens and a pull out sofa. The room was relatively clean and the beds were clean. The breakfast was appalling. It was crammed in a tiny room where it looked like they had set up folding tables. They had slices of bread and muffins sitting in some bowls, two kinds of cereal, some granola bars tossed on a table. The pool area was ok with turf areas and grills, it was just overall dated as was the room. The parking was extremely tight and around $20 a day which I didn’t see when I booked. The best thing was that we were a 1 minute walk to the beach.

This place gives other places like it a bad rep.
I didn’t stay. I couldn’t b/c I couldn’t cough up $100 deposit on top of room charge. I had $95 and was lucky to have that as my bank card had been cloned a few days before and account drained. Also Hotels.com says there’s a $17.50 service fee that’s paid in person. It’s actually $2 more and there’s a $20 per night parking fee. Any way zero compassion at this conglomerate of motels. I wasn’t rude. It’s mystifying that they wouldn’t work with me on the $5 until , I realized that they were also going to keep the cost of the room. Kick me when I am down and rob me of the cost of a room because it’s pure profit at that point. And I had yet to receive my deposit back from the previous stay here. My 1st experience was a women that was totally rude to me for no reason other than I booked a room for half the rate she quoted me by using this platform. I was deliberately put in a room that was not the one I booked. I checked that room later that night and it was totally empty. The excuse was someone beat me to the booking, a total lie. This place is at best a ghetto getaway. They bring the hood to you. Their free breakfast consists of nothing but bread and crackers and watered down juice.

24 hours prior to check in i was supposed to receive check in instructions. Never received them. I called to ensure they had my reservation and was told to come at anytime to check in. At check in my reserved room was unavailable. I was told not to worry, that i would get a better room at no extra charge. Someone came to help and asked me to pay the extra. I refused as this was not my fault. Finally we were able to get room. It was completely dirty, floors were disgusting, even the cabinets had layers of dust and dirt. The fridge did not work and there were no cups/plates/silverware in the entire place. We had 6 people in our room and they gave us a box with enough for 2 people. So we had to buy our own throw away plates/cups/silverware anyways. They were supposed to come change sheets and tidy up after 3 days and never did. I was very frustrated with the entire stay.
Highlight, the continental breakfast was a nice touch as many places do not have it.

I have never had such rude staff at a hotel before. We booked a room for 4 people. It was a queen bed with a pull-out couch. I asked at check in that it was set for 4 guests and they confirmed. When we got to our room we did not have pillows or blankets for the pull out. I went back to the lobby and requested, waited about an hour and a half, went back and asked again (again they said it was on it's way right now). Then we left for dinner as it was getting late. I expected to come back to blankets but no, none. I went back down to the lobby and they rudely assured me, again, that they were coming. We are all exhausted at this point and just want to go to bed. About 30 minutes later and very angry young man came to our door and gave us the blankets. He wouldn't speak to me just left the blankets and walked away. It was creepy! Also, the check in process takes close to an hour. The counter staff are openly swearing and complaining to one another about their shifts. One lady working the desk up and left with a line out the door. Swearing about how she shouldn't have to work so many hours. Some of their units are pretty nice, great location. Just incredibly poorly run. The breakfast is also super basic we ended up having to eat out for breakfast so that does not working into any of the savings!
