Absolutely loved our stay at Bobs Place. All the attention to detail was impeccable. We’ve stayed in a lot of accommodation over the years and this was by far the best. Bobs place should be the benchmark for all other accommodation providers to live up to. We loved the extras like the Polaroid camera, coffee on arrival, yoga mats and how easy it was to contact Bob if we had any questions. Thanks so much for an amazing stay.

Very central and spacious

Good communication throughout our stay. Apartment was very spacious. We enjoyed the benefit of an oven and washing machine. Public transport was readily available. Bus 37 stops across the street and the metro is close to Oslo central.

The apartment was very clean and sizable with kitchen and laundry machine. The furniture seemed adequate but I wouldn’t be surprised if it needed replacement soon. We were able to cook dinner and breakfast each day. We checked out as I write but left our luggage in designated secure area for pick up when we leave to catch the ferry to Copenhagen. You won’t be disappointed!

From its attractive Scandinavian style to its relatively prime location, high level of cleanliness, extreme cosiness, excellent condition of the apartment and great customer service, there is basically nothing I can pick on. I have nothing but full of praises for this accomm. Extremely pleased and satisfied and def value for money. Would highly recommend!

Close to train station and downtown. Lots of room, comfortable beds. Electronic check in and “keys” worked great, as did wifi. Quite responsive when we had questions. Overall very happy with our stay and would book again!

My experience at Bob W Gamle Oslo was incredibly disappointing. The major issue with the property is the restaurant located on the ground floor. Upon entering, after struggling with their website, I was greeted by the sight of food scattered at the entrance, along with empty food boxes. The smell was unbearable, reminiscent of a dirty kitchen. Additionally, accessing the apartment was frustrating. It took me three to four attempts just to open the door. The beds and mattresses were subpar, and my back is still hurting from sleeping on them. I will never stay at this property again.

Lovely place to stay. A lot of space for a family. Tidy with very comfortable beds to rest afte the day of walking. Fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare food (nice grocery store just behind the crossroad). Good location, just a few minutes walk from city center (train statio and bus station). No reception, for me is a plus, you can just walk in using your sellphone.

Fantastic place all the tech worked no issues and they were always there on WhatsApp for anything. It’s at the end of a bustling area if your a family maybe take the longer walk round to get to the train station and harbour. Its a very busy area, day and night.
