Waterfront cabin facing the sunset

Beautiful highbank waterfront property on the coveted Westside of Vashon Island. Experience this magical setting while enjoying walks along the beach and never ending wildlife sightings. Otters, seals, sea lions, eagles, herons, and more! While no guarantees, no guest thus far as not seen a seal. It's like being thousands of miles away yet only a little more than one hour from Seattle. The view is breathtaking, especially at sunset.

Large windows and deck let you soak in the expansive view inside or out! Beach access is a short walk away. Basement includes ping pong table and foosball. Two person above-board kayak and paddle board available to explore the Sound.

Three bedrooms plus basement pull-out sofa bed.

NOTE: Beach access is via ladder or steep stairs and is difficult to navigate for physically disabled individuals.

This house is very comfortable, beds are good, there was wood for the wood stove, the kitchen had everything we needed. I was very impressed with how clean the windows were - what an amazing view. For our family of two parents and two kids in their 20s, this was perfect.

Absolutely beautiful view and gorgeous house. Idyllic location to reset and recharge. The only think I would recommend is making sure you bring food with you. Local shopping is a bit limited for groceries and only one pizza place delivers. It's a beautiful place and the manager is very accommodating. We extended our stay twice! We will definitely be back!

A wonderful place to spend time. Very well appointed and extremely clean, the house offers great views and a restful natural setting. The seals kept us constantly entertained. Vashon Island is delightful. Highly recommend this house!

This rental is fantastic:Beautiful location. The most well-equipped kitchen I've been in in a vacation rental. Generous supplies & amenities (ie. ample good soap/shampoo, storage bags/containers, enough blankets/towels. Amazing beds & linens. Easy, gracious communication with the hosts. Very thoughtful & thorough explanation of things to do, especially navigating accessing the water with the kayaks. Unlike so many rental experiences where I have the feeling of bumping into things I need that I can't find, or aren't "very good quality", in this rental I repeatedly had an experience of ease/relax/happy surprise, "Wow, these owners know their property well and really thought through how to support the best possible experience for their guests." It was a joy to be here and our family had a great time. Thank you!!

Beautiful setting and house

We had a wonderful stay at this waterfront cabin. The space was great and it did not lack anything we needed or wanted. We were surprised that you needed to use a ladder to get to the beach. Some of us were able to do that easily. We loved our time on Vashon.

Exquisite!

The entire house has updated decor and is spotlessly clean. Every amenity possible can be found at your disposal. The views of Puget Sound are breathtaking - we saw a pod of orcas swim by and bald eagles fishing right in front of the house! The host was extremely helpful, directions and access to the house easy. We loved staying here and highly recommend this property if you’re looking for the perfect Vashon Island getaway.

Great stay

My family had a great stay. House was clean and beds were very comfortable. My teen has made several comments that the house made our vacation. From watching the seals, playing ping pong, board games and just spending time as a family, this house was perfect.

Sensational Sabbatical

My wife and I were fortunate to spend 3 weeks of my work sabbatical at this incredible property. Our stay was during the fall, so while the weather was as expected (rainy and cold most days), we experienced multiple weather conditions daily and loved the beautiful, peaceful views we enjoyed every single day! Beautiful house in a lovely location. Hosts made sure that we were taken care of when freak wind storm took out power to the neighborhood for a bit. Game room was a big hit with visiting children one night. DVDs galore entertained the 4 adults staying at the house when the sun went down. All around great place to stay! Thanks J & B.

Wonderful Beach Cabin

We were on Vashon for a week visiting family and had family join us for dinner one night. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the water everyday-kayaking and paddle boarding. We played board games and ping pong. The beds were comfortable and the views amazing, wildlife all day. Would definitely recommend this property.
