Your condo rests peacefully on the 5th floor of one of Maui's best resorts, Sugar Beach. From the spacious lanai (patio), you will gaze upon 4.5 miles of majestic, pristine, sandy beach - perfect for rejuvenating early morning strolls, or romantic walks at sunset! You will catch glimpses of turtles bobbing in the sea, and whales in-season (January-April). The ocean is only steps from your front door - perfect for a quick, refreshing dip any time of day.

Inside, the owners have poured their hearts and designer sensibility into creating a sanctuary for the senses, where your every creature comfort will be satisfied. Their remodel was completed in January 2017, and includes central A/C (a rarity in Hawaii), washer/dryer (no stress about having dry towels for your next beach outing), flat-screen TV's in the living room and bedroom, all-new stainless steel kitchen appliances including an outward-facing cooktop so you'll never miss a second of ocean-front views, new tile and countertops in kitchen and bathroom -- in simple terms, everything you could wish for.

For sleeping, there is a king-sized bed in the bedroom, and a very comfortable, brand-new pull-out sofa in the living room.

Overall the place was nice enough and as advertised. Couch cushions were extremely dirty that’s my only complaint. My warning is this: communication was poor at best. We never received check in instructions. I messaged the owner earlier in the afternoon and even called asking for instructions. He finally called me back at 45 minutes after we had been sitting in the parking lot, frantically trying to make other arrangements after thinking we had been scammed. We eventually got the door code but no other instructions were ever sent to us. It put a bad taste in my mouth and we will not be staying again.

Great location, calm clean nice place

The unit is nice, well finished, comfy, everything you need is there. Good communication, helpful property manager. Location is amazing. Right on the beach, fall asleep to the waves, wake up to the sun on the sand. Much quieter than many other parts of the island.

Great Stay

I had a lovely time at this condo right on the beach in Kihei. Owners were very easy to work with. The unit is equipped with everything you need and the views from the lanai are spectacular. I hope to stay here again!

Awesome view with great amenities

We enjoyed staying at the Sugar Beach Resort. The condo was everything it was described to be. We really loved the view of the ocean and Sugar Beach from the Lanai. Morning walks on the beach and vibrant sunsets from the Lanai will ensure we have lasting memories. The weather was perfect during our stay, so we were able to enjoy every minute of our vacation. Mornings were relatively calm but afternoons were windy, with a cool breeze to keep us cool. With small bath attached to the single bedroom, the unit is perfect for small families (2 adults with 2 or 3 small children). The owner and property management were wonderful to work with and very accommodating. We highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for good value in Maui.

Thank you, Jay & Larissa, our stay was fabulous. We will be back hopefully next year. It felt like 'coming home'. Everything you need. the views are unapparelled. Morning, Afternoon and sunset. The waves crashing against the shore were so soothing. Everyday, we walked the beach to the Canoe Club (left to condo), and went to Sugar Beach Bakery, pick up americano/lattes and malasadas! Return, pool, relax, lunch, walk - sunset every night on lania and then head out for dinner. Recommended: Isana Sushi, Beach Club, Havens Seafood & Chopshouse, Pt. Break Pizza, Food Trucks, and farmers's market next to Sugar Beach. Have fun. Mahalo!

Ocean front condo

Sugar beach is a favourite area for me so when I found this condo, I was excited to see it. Upon coming I was early, way before check in so had to wait which wasn’t a problem. Entering the condo it was exactly as posted. Beautifully decorated and comfortable bedding. The kitchen was appointed with everything I needed. Last but not least you can’t beat the view, every morning and the evening sunsets were spectacular❣️

Amazing property on sugar beach resort. The view was amazing and we spent most of our time on the lanai watching turtles on the beach or people surfing. Condo has everything you need from beach chairs, coolers, all essentials in a kitchen. Location is amazing within 30mins of everything. Will definitely be back!

View Doesn't Get Old

If you are looking for an amazing view look no further. This place has a view that goes on for days and really never gets old. The palm trees, sand, water, blue skies and whales (yes we saw one from our balcony), this place has a view of it all. The condo itself is well designed, well appointed and worth every penny. The check-in process was easy and the communication with management was quick. Everything you needed was available, and we made use of the washer and dryer a lot which was nice feature. Positives: Recently updated View Washer and Dryer Sofa bed (best I have ever used) Sugar Beach Condo amenities Check-in Communication Negatives: Light bulb missing in kitchen Location - ONLY because you really need a car to get anywhere. In walking distance there is a small farmer's market and Sugar Beach Baker which are both must visits and an ABC store (think convenient store but nicer). Anything else you will need transportation. At the end of the day, the positives and the view far outweigh any negatives (which were not much), so I would say if you are looking at this place book it.

Great View

The view is wonderful. Plan on being home every night to watch the sunset. We ate dinner on the lanai listening to the waves.

Wonderful Location

We loved the location of this condo. It faced the ocean and the waves could be heard throughout the lanai and condo. The beach was perfect for walking. We loved sitting at the table on the lanai and watching the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The check in process was a little cumbersome but it was manageable with a little patience. The onsite sandwich shop had good sandwiches and was reasonably priced. There was plenty of parking and the elevator was a nice option with a 5th floor condo. We appreciated the book of suggestions and directions left by the owners. It was very helpful. Thanks for sharing your wonderful condo with us.

Everything about the property is perfect. Love the pool area, steps away from the beach, lanai is perfect for breakfast or lunch or dinner. I had chance to view moon setting at 5:30 am.

Great location and view

Great location for all we wanted to do and close to stores amd restaurants. The unit was well furnished and equipped, and the in-unit washer/dryer was very comvenient. The only minor inconvenience was having to go tjrough the bathroom to get to the bedroom, and the pocket door between the 2.

Remodeled ocean front condo

Great location in Kehei. Unit is remodeled and tastefully decorated with quality furnishings. Really enjoyed the ocean front balcony for meals and morning coffee. Property is quite and well maintained with a clean pool and hot tub and right on the beach. Well appointed unit that had everything we needed in a home away from home. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Sugar Beach

Condo was nice, beautiful oceanfront property. There was some construction going on in a condo above us while we were there and they started pretty early so that was not great listening to them working. Other than that it was a very nice stay and nice accommodations. We did t communicate with property manager because we didn’t need anything and everything worked.

We're two California natives who met nearly 20 years ago in Los Angeles, and have been very fortunate to spend a significant portion of our live together in the beautiful Hawaiian Islands. We purchased this wonderful condo in 2016, and spent four months remodeling it from top to bottom. We are super excited to share it with new friends, old friends, our families, and of course, ourselves!

After spending tons of time on Maui over the past several years, we finally decided that Sugar Beach is THE best place to be. It's convenient to everything, but it's also very quiet and peaceful. The resort is extremely well maintained, with very happy owners. The beach is nearly 5 miles long! And it's so easy to explore the entire island of Maui from this very central location. These are some of the main reasons why we decided to purchase this condo in this location.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Sugar Beach resort is really special. The views are incredible, all year round. (We could just sit and stare at the ocean all day long.) Sugar Beach is one of the very few resorts on Maui that have central A/C. We love this!! You can be outdoors all day long, get as hot and sweaty as you want, and then return to the perfect, climate-controlled setting of your own condo. We think this is paradise. In addition, we absolutely love having washer/dryer inside the condo. No trips to the gross laundry room, no digging around for spare quarters! Every day, your beach towels will be warm and dry, ready for your next afternoon on the sand. These are a couple of the very practical things that we believe make our condo so special - along with the most important things which are abundant sea, sand, and sun!!
