Hi Robert. Thank you for your review. I heard from you once during your stay and you had the concierge successfully resolve your wifi issues, as our only topic of communication. From your review, it sounds like you aren't very tech savvy, as both televisions are brand new, but as per the ad, require you to have your own streaming accounts as they are smart TVs. I was living in the condo only weeks prior to your review and all of the appliances were working well. As I know you were using our location to contemplate snow birding per your spouse, it's likely Mexico is not for you. I'm not sure what your expectation was for a $100 per night ocean front condo in a 3rd world county, but my home isn't located in a catered resort. It is an apartment complex with a concierge staff and a pool feet from the ocean. I'm sorry you experienced elevator difficulties during your stay. The ad specifies it is not a handicapped accessible unit and without the elevator you must travel the same distance on the outside as you need to in order to access the bedrooms on the inside, one flight of stairs. I wish you the best in your future and on behalf of my neighbors suggest you find another country for your future retirement.

Hello Jack, I am really sorry to hear you did not enjoy our home in Mexico and that you believe you have gotten ill while using the AC in the bedroom each night. I am sorry the noise from the waves next to our building was too great to leave the windows opened with the screens at night or that the ceiling fan above the bed was not enough to cool you. Should you stay with anyone else, please note that AC vents can be adjusted so they do not "blow directly" on someone. Our concierge could have assisted you with this as well, if it was too difficult or you were concerned of breaking the AC. They also would have addressed any dripping. I very much wish to address your comments that I was "unresponsive" as there are over 40 emails in this system to show otherwise, the bulk of which during your stay.  I can not apologize enough for the struggles of sustainable internet in a foreign country. As I stated in my emails, this has been an issue for me as well, and there were multiple alternative internet options I listed for you and included in the Welcome Book for your stay, including the use of the on site computer in the office of the lobby. I understand you felt these did not provide the security that you wanted to have, and the internet was repaired as soon as TelMex was able to send out a technician. Things often aren't resolved in Mexico as quickly as they would be in the US. Again, I would like to remind you, as one of those many emails did too, that my ad does not include in room laundry, and that laundry is available for a fee through our concierge. The only reason you know that I one time provided an on-site machine was because I sent you a digital copy of the Welcome Binder (which you eventually located in the room) so you would have all the passwords for the different available internet, and did not remove the instructions for the Washing Machine I once had years ago but which was broken by a previous guest and discontinued. Which brings me to my main final concern: Who goes to another persons home and fiddles with the light fixtures, has them "fall out exposing wires", says nothing (again how the email thread would show) and then complains about it? There is a 24/7 concierge and maintenance staff on site. If a bulb went out (in a foreign country things just may be a little different) they would happily have sent maintenance to fix this, and at the very least, when you pulled the fixture down exposing wires, you could have contacted them or me as well. As with your internet difficulties, I was in constant contact with the resort manager and could have told him of this issue as well.
