The Cottage is a country cottage retreat nestled within beautiful gardens, surrounded by woods and wildlife yet only 10 minutes from the

heart of avand-garde Woodstock or the trendy vibe of the Kingston area. Enjoy your morning coffee outside in the hot tub or inside in front of the crackling propane fireplace. Unwind in the ambiance of your retreat surrounded by the beauty of the Catskills. The cottage is located in a 50 acre woodland setting with trails that are lovely to walk anytime of the year, hearing the birds as they chirp and the wildlife scamper through the trees. You can walk our red and yellow marked trails right on the property and catch some animal watching. A map is included in the visitor information book. You may even see a glimpse of the raft of turkey's and deer that roam the wooded area and the back yard. This is a country setting where you can enjoy everything the Catskills have to offer, or the quietness of your private setting with a good book and your favorite cocktail. Enjoy your setting through the large windows of the cottage while you are sitting warm and cozy inside, or sit outside on the blue stone patio under the blue sky. Your cottage is fully cleaned and all of our linens, comforters and towels are freshly laundered for each guest.

The cottage sleeps 5 and houses a small full kitchen, living room, indoor bathroom, outdoor shower in season and sleeping loft upstairs with one king and one double bed and a pull out couch in the living room. You will find many amenities included in your stay.

The outdoor living space is surrounded by gardens & decorations, fish ponds and an outdoor kitchen and cabana bar where you find a Viking grill and all of your entertaining needs which is open almost year round. The wine and cocktail glasses, linens, outdoor refrigerator, sink & cooking prep area, are yours to enjoy during your stay. Listen to your favorite music through the outdoor speaker system powered by Alexis. This is a private spot and the amenities are only for the use of our guests during their stay. Take in the sun and enjoy one of your favorite cocktails at the bar. Can't miss watching a few of your favorite shows - log-in and watch them from the smart TV at the cabana or inside by the warmth of the fire. You'll also find a full array of spices in the pool house kitchen and the outdoor kitchen as well. After a day of hiking or exploring nature top off your evening with a soak in the hot tub and a hot toddy. We have a patio propane heater that helps to extend the outdoor season in the cooler weather. You can light the outdoor fit pit to add to the ambiance and enjoy smores anytime of the year!

Here you can enjoy the serenity and quietness of the country yet be close to our great local pubs & restaurants if you choose. Eat, Drink 28 offers scrumptious prepared food, world class wines & liquors, local cheeses and grass fed meats if you'd like to dine in. There is a brand new 11 mile Ashokan Rail Trail called the ART that is newly open with walking and biking and with access just a mile up Route 28. There are beautiful views of the reservoir and woods along the trail.

Your retreat is 10 minutes from the heart of Woodstock and Kingston located in the Catskill Mountain Park, yet minutes from exit 19 on the New York State Thruway. You are 45 minutes to an hour from Belleayre Ski, Hunter Mountain or Windham Mountain for their festivals or skiing, cross country skiing or snow tubing. There are plenty of great restaurants, local bars and breweries, as well as a host of fishing, kayaking , hiking and outdoor adventures all minutes from your doorstep. Want to fish in the Ashokan Reservoir 5 minutes away? We have a rowboat on the reservoir you can access. Like to try your hand at a row boat on a small lake just 5 minutes away? Just ask me about it. Or you may choose to simply relax with a good book and melt away the stress of daily life in your resort like setting.

Light a bonfire in the fire pit on the patio or if you feel adventurous light up the big fire pit just outside the cottage fence! There is plenty of wood to keep it going all night! If we are around we'll be happy to help you get it started.

For boaters you are 20 minutes from the Hudson River boat launch where you can enjoy the beauty of the Hudson River on your own boat or take one of the cruises offered at the waterfront. For kayakers, Onteora Lake in the NYS Bluestone Forest Preserve is 5 minutes away. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy some great hiking trails with views of the lake.

Love the outdoors but sports are not your thing? You are minutes from the music center of Woodstock New York in the heart of the Hudson Valley where you can enjoy our local festivals, fairs, and events that take place all year long. You are also close to the Kingston Stockade and the waterfront at the Strand. Spend at Day at Hunter Mountain at one of their many festivals and concerts throughout the season or soar the treetops on their amazing Hunter Mountain ZIP Line Adventure!
