Enjoy the tranquility of this unique modern barn. Each room feels straight out of a design magazine, yet is comfortable and cozy. There’s lots of open space for your guests to spread out. Take a drive to Woodstock and wander the iconic town, or drive down the street for hiking and canoeing. Hit the slopes at Hunter Mountain, then kick back by the fire with an amazing view of the mountains or enjoy the spacious deck during the summer months. Great for romantic getaways and groups of all sizes

The space

This beautiful 2,800 sq. ft house is stylish, comfortable, clean & clutter-free. Furnishings are a mix of modern & one-of-a-kind finds, creating a unique modern-rustic charm. Its vast, open 2-story layout provides guests with plenty of space to share as a group, while also offering privacy if desired. The living room is spacious with high vaulted ceilings & an original stone fireplace. It's a great room to enjoy board games, sip wine, or sit by a cozy fire. The yoga room at the other end of the house is great for relaxing alone, watching a movie with a group, or serving as a kid’s playroom.

A spiral staircase separates the 3 bedrooms upstairs from the 1 bedroom downstairs. No 2 bedrooms share a wall. All beds have allergen-free pillows & mattress protectors. 2 of the 3 bathrooms have radiant heated flooring. The master bath has a luxurious, modern free-standing tub. Linens & towels are provided.

The large cook's kitchen comes equipped with stainless steel appliances as well as other cooking tools. We provide a kitchen inventory and supply list to assist with any planning. A large island with bar stools sits in the middle of the kitchen, and off to the side, a sitting bay window nook looks out to a mountain view.

The dining room is a separate area with seating for 10, perfect for a dinner party.

The large front deck is also great for entertaining. We also have a patio with a fire pit, and firewood is provided.

Enjoy the views while grilling on the spacious front deck or sitting around the fire pit. The home also has a hot tub on the back deck. It's truly a great place to be in all four seasons.

Beautiful place, and very well equipped (particularly in the kitchen). It’s a big space that enables people to have their time alone, while also having charming common areas in the kitchen and in front of the fire. Hosts were communicative and kind. Highly recommend.

Our stay was amazing! We celebrated an early Christmas with our adult children and enjoyed winter hiking at the state park a short walk from the house, playing games in the comfortable living room with the beautiful fireplace and cooking meals together. We explored nearby Woodstock and of course saw the world’s largest Kaleidoscope!! The house offered everything we could think of, a nice large kitchen to congregate, a large living room for gathering while enjoying the views and the warmth of the wood stove, extremely comfortable bedrooms and eclectic bathrooms. We hope we can visit again soon!

We loved the woodsy location and the mountain views! The space was perfect for us (5 college roommates having a 35th reunion). The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and sharing meals. The front porch was an excellent place for morning coffee, the firepit and the hot tub were perfect for downtime and reconnection.

This is a beautiful property. It fit everyone perfectly. Lots of space to spread out and relax. We loved the outdoor spaces. Gorgeous views from the deck and the hot tub was the perfect end to the day. We would absolutely recommend and look forward to staying again!

Picture Perfect family week!

Spacious, comfortable, beautiful house … we had the best time there! Perfect size and scene for 8 adults and two dogs. Easy access to so many sweet towns. Walked on the Ashokan trail every morning. Owners made it all very easy.

Great place for family

We stayed here to celebrate our parents retirement and the house was perfect.Close to hiking trails and Woodstock, well appointed, and very clean.Would stay here again if we were back in the area.

Lovely retreat

Our family stayed at this home for two very enjoyable nights to attend a wedding nearby. The home was spacious and comfortable and our host was a great communicator. The hot tub and wood fireplace were just what we needed for an unseasonably cold visit!

Amazing Location for Fall Getaway

Property was wonderful for a fall getaway. Everything was clean and organized. Labels and clear directions for the lights and heating. Enjoyed slow mornings with a cup of tea, sitting in the sun on the porch. Days spent hiking in the area - there are plenty of hikes within a half hour of the house and a rail trail within 10 min if you’re looking for something easy. Evenings reading on the comfy couches and soaking in the hot tub under the stars. I would recommend staying here to anyone who wants a nice relaxing stay in the Catskills.

Perfect for us

A Terrific Mountain Getaway Retreat

This is a wonderful property for relaxing and for entertaining. The kitchen is well laid out for meals prep and hanging out. The large living room is also a great gathering place. The deck is huge and our family and friends dined there comfortably. The property is only minutes from many fine restaurants and fun shopping. The setting and scenery are beautiful and we found a great nearby area for walking. Longer trails were located a short drive away. It certainly lived up to its' description and then some. Would we return? ABSOLUTELY!

Great Family Place

This house is the ideal place for a family get together. It has huge living spaces, both inside and outside, to gather and enjoy the beauty that surrounds. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything needed to make a quick snack, a large formal dinner, and everything in between. Bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious. There accommodations for infants which was helpful as we had a 2 year old with us. We would definitely return to enjoy more mornings with coffee on the deck and evenings around the outdoor fire.

Amazing ladies weekend

Our group had a great stay at this property. Perfect for a girls weekend. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of space, clean house, fully stocked kitchen. Not to mention the added hot tub and great deck, Solo stove and plenty of firewood. The host was responsive, check in was easy. We were close to restaurants and town. Amazing stay, will return.

Week in Woodstock

We had a great week in this beautiful and unique home, which was close to hiking trails and the town of Woodstock. The house was as advertised - well-stocked and cozy. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely visit again.

House super exactly like pictures

A little excitement for me and my city friends we had a bear who showed up on more than one occasion while BBG on the deck while eating so that made for a interesting story and he did come back and break a panel on the garage and made a big garbage mess As a city girl i never saw them so close Once again house wonderful for entertaining

Beautiful Stay

We loved this perfect escape with it's close proximity to Woodstock and other towns. The house was beautiful, spacious, and had all the amenities anyone could ask for. Standouts where the ability to have a fire in the fireplace every night of our stay.

A very Sweet SWEET 16!!!

A gorgeous home in a picturesque setting. My daughter had a wonderful time with her friends, enjoying the ample space, the beautiful bedrooms, fun rec/tv room, and luxuriating in the Japanese Style Bathroom (they could not get enough of the open shower!) my wife and I LOVED the master suite! It was like an upscale Manhattan apartment! My wife really enjoyed the tub! Wonderful home! Three days of new memories! Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and fully stocked with everything you need. The views breathtaking and serene and the location amazing. We hated to leave and plan on coming again.

John is a fine dining Chef turned Real Estate Agent who enjoys brewing his own beer and watching 80s movies. Lizz is a creative Event Producer who loves crafting and organizing. Even as high school sweethearts, we both loved getting out of the city to enjoy hiking and snowboarding in the fresh air Upstate. When our daughter came along we decided to make a home base for family getaways which would be comfortable and stylish enough for other guests to enjoy.

We fell in love with the property before we even saw it. The modern barn style, location, and surrounding landscape is exactly what we were looking for. We live in Sunnyside, Queens and wanted something close enough to enjoy that would be a great investment for our family's future. We also love that the area has great restaurants and lots to do indoors and outdoors all 4 seasons.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The blend of privacy and shared space, cozy but modern decor, mountains with the charming town of Woodstock nearby. We love that the property is special each of the 4 seasons, and the surrounding area can easily be enjoyed year-round as well. The drama of the external view and the interior of the main living space with the unique staircase and exposed catwalk bring something incredibly unique to the home.
