Relax next to the black bottom saltwater pool which overlooks the best views of Clearlake anywhere! The 3700 sf Lake Tahoe type chalet with vaulted ceilings, bar and gourmet kitchen will spoil you. Want a BBQ, then turn up the outdoor speakers, open the tiki hut, turn up the spa and jump in the pool. You’ll love our place because of the views, the high ceilings, the location, the privacy, and the luxury. Good for big groups, families or just couples.

Light and airy. Lots of windows over looking the lake and pool. High ceilings and sky lights make the massive 3700 square feet seem inviting. Very comfortable, two king sized beds, one queen size bed, open floor plan, lovely pool deck to enjoy the pool, BBQ or dine outside under the wisteria covered trellises. Guarantee you will love this private home. Very clean, luxurious and fully equipped.

Guests will have access to black bottom salt water swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ, washer and dryer. Can park 4-6 cars on sight. Full Direct TV with all premium channels with three TV's. Outdoor speakers wired in and out of house (bring your music on your iphone and plug it in). Misters outside on the wisteria covered trellises if it gets too hot! A full tiki hut with sink for a pool party. Hot tub for 6 people with views to die for. Two wood burning stoves to cozy up to in the evenings. Forced air and heat.

We will be happy to greet you to provide any instructions you may need, as well as to pick up the keys upon your departure. Shopping and restaurants are conveniently close. Safeway/CVS one exit down the highway.

Cross family vacation 2021/2022

Beautiful home, location and views! The hosts are wonderful as well! Our family enjoyed a relaxing 3 week stay at this property. The sunrises are breath taking. Definitely a must see. We looked forward daily to seeing deer, turkeys, jack rabbits and a wide variety of birds. Short ride to town where you can find anything you need for your stay.

Great getaway - a perfect "away" staycation spot!

We stayed almost a month at this beautiful home with the most amazing views. It's perfect for a staycation in the summer with the pool at your disposal - we also worked while we were here and the hosts graciously had their home office equipment available to us which made it a breeze to be productive, while still enjoying a getaway. It's a wonderful home to soak in the view of the lake and perfect sunsets. Lots of fun wildlife visits on a daily basis - a family of deer, turkeys, hummingbirds greeted us regularly. The property is well maintained and perfect for us as it's dog friendly, too. The hosts were super gracious and always checked in to ensure all of our needs were met and were quick to respond to any questions or issues! We never wanted for anything as our hosts were 100% focused on giving us the best experience - truly unique from any of our other rental experiences. The home is very well stocked with just about anything you could think of needing - the only very minor feedback is that I'd recommend removing some of the unnecessary "decor" that while it does make it feel more "homey", it's a near impossibility to keep it all dust free without almost daily maintenance - especially in a home so spacious. We wouldn't have missed it and it would have been easier for us to keep clean during our extended stay if there weren't as many items to dust/move around to clean. That being said, we would highly recommend renting this home and especially our hosts - don't hesitate as you won't regret it. We hope to be back again someday soon!!

Wonderful Respite

While heading up the drive to the property, we were welcomed by a flock of wild turkeys, family of deer, and a couple of jack rabbits as well as the lovely owners of the property. The expansive house has amazing views of the lake and surrounding mountains, unfortunately they were obscured by the smoke from the wildfires on some of the days we were there. The house is very comfortable and expansive as well as stocked with anything you might need for cooking. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and spa listening to the outside sound system, as well as the misters that kept us cool. The pool is well maintained and perfect for a cooling dip. We look forward to returning in the future. Michael was communicative and responsive during our stay.

Exceptional Stay

This was truly one of the loveliest stays we’ve had at any house rental anywhere. Michael and Anastacia were very gracious and attentive hosts making sure we had everything we could possibly need and checking in mid stay. The home is beautiful - full stop. Isolated up on a hill away from town it has gorgeous views of Mt Konocti, it’s bird watching paradise and dark enough at night to see a plethora of constellations marking the night sky. You can watch the sunrise over Clearlake from the bedroom and see sunset from the hot tub. Who couldn’t love the spa bathroom and if you like to cook, everything you can possibly want is there in the kitchen, just bring meat and veg. You can tell the home is lived in and loved. Even our dog felt welcome. I would only be cautious of the step down living room for older guests and the pool for younger children.

We spent a week here with our family friends and kiddos. It was perfect. The pictures do not do this place justice. The view out of the Great Room is stunning and serene. The house was amazingly equipped with a wonderful kitchen with all the appliances you could want or need. Beds were super comfy and the rooms were clean and again, well supplied. All the rooms had amazing tv options, but really you want to spend your time poolside. Gorgeous, pool with hot tub were the perfect place for parents to relax while kiddos splashed in the sunshine. We had an amazing and restful time. Michael was very communicative and we never felt like an answer was more than a phone call away. We hope to be back again soon!

Great spot!

Communication with Michael, the owner, was easy and he was very responsive. Michael does all the cleaning and everything was super clean! He is very aware of using sanitary practices for COVID. The setting is perfect! Such a beautiful view and the outdoor area is so comfortable with all types of chairs and sitting areas. The hot tub was lovely and at a great temperature, 104. I could have just sat outside looking at that view for hours, but it was too cold unfortunately . The kitchen was really well stocked. Michael and his wife live there, so it has all sorts of basics ( and not so basics)! The kitchen is also spacious and plenty of room to work in. They have every appliance you would want, a Vitamix, a kitchen-aid mixer and a cuisinart. They had lots of spices too. The living room was very comfortable and had a large tv. There is a fireplace but we didn’t use that. One of my favorite things was standing by the kitchen sink and watching all the birds come to the feeders that Michael has there. There is a constant flow of different birds, all enjoying the bird feeders Michael has placed there.. There are also bird feeders in the backyard which is lovely. If you have a book about identifying different birds, I would suggest you bring it as we saw many different types of birds. There are also wild turkeys, quail and deer that you may see nearby. I would definitely recommend this house and plan to go back. We hadn’t planned to go to Lakeport for our working week away, but the rave reviews convinced us to try it, and these reviews are really true! Thank you Michael for sharing your beautiful home!

if we could stay forever we would :)

Thank you Michael and Anastacia for a wonderfully relaxing stay. We were greeted by Michael who gave us a tour of the property and showed us how things worked etc. This wouldnt be the norm for us, but we found it to be a big plus. Michael was warm and friendly. The house itself is more homey, in that it's not a shell like many other airbnb/vrbo's. The kitchen is fully stocked, and we were not left wanting for anything. There are tvs in all bedrooms, and they have every channel you could possibly need (incl sports). The outside is what what really makes this place magical. The view of the lake is spectacular. You can take in the sunset from the comfort of the jacuzzi, or float in the pool. We were also visited by many wild birds. We had a dog with us, so it was a big plus that the yard is fully enclosed. We stayed during covid, and appreciated that every effort was made to make us feel comfortable and confident that the house was thoroughly cleaned. I was hesitant to leave such a positive review for the place for fear that the house would be booked up when we return (which we plan to). :) Thanks again !

Beautiful view - wonderful hosts

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house. It was private, beautiful and the hosts offered generous access to their kitchen supplies and other amenities. They even had a supply of firewood, which was lovely given the rain and cold. We would love to stay here again - perhaps next summer so we can use the beautiful pool. Bird watchers - you will love this place!!

Surpassed expectations!

My wife and I and our 2 dogs spent a relaxing 4 days at this beautiful home overlooking Clear Lake. The pool and hot tub are fantastic, with a great view of the lake. The location is very peaceful and private, and the house is clean, modern and comfy.

Loved this place, perfect views! Great for families (or just couples)

We rented this property for Thanksgiving. Two families, 4 adults, 2 kids and my dog. Michael's house was immaculate and had everything you could need. It was perfect!!! We BBQ, listened to music using the outdoor speakers, enjoyed Clearlake from the spa, it was perfect! This is one of those places you know you will return. Thank you Michael.

This is a wonderful home - spacious, comfortable, beautifully furnished and filled with amenities. The outdoor space is serene and lush, with a pano view of the lake and many interesting birds. We love to swim and the pool was fabulous. Our host gave us a great orientation and let us know he was easily reachable.. All in all, an exceptional stay we hope to repeat!

LOVED IT—OUR NEW FAVORITE

We have rented numerous vacation homes over the past 30 years but this is now our absolute favorite. We felt at home and relaxed right away. This nicely furnished home is large and very comfortable with views from most rooms. We especially enjoyed the pool, the privacy, the views, and the wildlife (love those hummers and quail!) It’s a rare find—nice house, perfect pool and total privacy. The house lacks nothing for a wonderful vacation experience. Can’t wait to return and stay longer.

What a perfect vacation home!

We were so reluctant to leave after our week's stay at Michael & Stacy's gem of a home in Lakeport, CA! The house was immaculate & had every possible amenity you could desire-tons of space inside & the outdoor living area is huge & so inviting. We lolled away many hours relaxing, listening to Michael's great playlist that was piped inside & outside, while looking at the stunning lake. Fantastic kitchen to cook in & very thoughtfully stocked. The beds were very comfortable-a high priority when you're sleeping in them for a week! Michael was available & so kind to help with any needs. We could not recommend this Lakeport beauty more! What a wonderful week of R&R. Thank you for the best time, Michael & Stacy!

A perfect birthday retreat

I stayed here for a birthday getaway earlier this month and it was PERFECT - everything I could have asked for in my search for some much needed down time. Michael was such a a gracious host that he had a surprise birthday balloon, beautiful flowers, and a delicious cupcake for me to kick off my 5 day vacation on the right note. The house is simply beautiful and the landscaping is breathtaking. It felt like I was in paradise. I had to do a bit of work for a few days while I was there, but I didn't mind it at all while sitting at the table against the wall of windows looking out at the wonderful view. This was my first experience with renting a personal home and he's set the bar so high that everyone else has A LOT to live up to!!! Thank you for the wonderful birthday memories!!!

Wonderful Home - Beautiful grounds and Pool

Five discerning women agree - The best long weekend retreat ever! This is a lovingly equipped, very comfortable home, with mature landscaping and private salt water pool. Don't want to swim? Sit in the shade and watch the parade of humming birds and other happy birds as they flit by. On the grounds, catch a view of wild turkeys. Enjoy the comfy beds and clean quarters. Heaven on the lake!

This was our second visit to the lake villa and it was better than the first visit! We felt like we were coming home from a long trip only to be in peace and serenity, yet feeling like Jimmy Buffet could arrive any moment. Michael is forever welcoming and the house looks perfect, new carpet, tv's in every room and the views can't be beat. The birds were spectacular as if they were hired to entertain us only! We stayed in for the fireworks and what a view along with the moon rising! The kitchen is fully stocked and the pool sparkles like diamonds and felt so refreshing. Thank you Michael and Staci, we can't thank you enough for sharing your personal home with us like as if we were part of the family! Cheers and hope to visit again!

Exceeded our expectations

We had pretty high expectations going into our stay since the photos are so beautiful but even still we were blown away. Michael was very attentive and super easy to work with. The kitchen is well stocked so no need to bring spices or condiments.

Wonderful experience. Could not have been better ! Host was awesome. Had everything there you could ever need - will definitely be back ! Beautiful view - the second you walk into the house you get mesmerized by the panoramic view of the lake and all of the beautiful green plants and the beautiful pool and hot tub - the wisteria w misters and the hammock are the perfect touch on this relaxing oasis !

Amazing rental !!!!!

Our recent stay at your rental was perfect. Six of us women stayed for a extra long weekend, it was great. Private with amazing views. Who knew Lake County had such a beautiful home for vacationing?

This was by far the best vacation home we could have asked for. Michael made sure of that. He was quick to respond to any question, and helped us enjoy our stay. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get, fabulous floor plan, and beautiful furnishings. The bathrooms are complete with robes, slippers, shampoos, soaps and sun protection. The kitchen was equipped with the best appliances and every staple needed for daily meal preparation. Spend your mornings with a cup of coffee, watch the quail prance across the lawn, and the hummingbirds dive bomb through the mists in the wisteria canopy. In the evenings sit back around the pool, watch the moon come up and then see who can count the most shooting stars. In between you can enjoy the pool, or go into Lakeport for wine tasting or a good meal. Clear Lake is a fishermans paradise for any of the anglers in your group. I am sharing my excitement and appreciation of this lovely home with my friends, and I hope we can plan a return visit in the near future. Thank you Michael, we couldn't have asked for anything.

My family has been coming to Lakeport for decades and this visit by far has been the best experience

The 3 acre paradise exceeded our every expectation all the way down to the last fork! The kitchen was so wonderful and Michael even provided a large skillet for us so we didn't have to bring anything. The pool, the surround sound speakers and the lighting made us feel like we were in very own our resort! The beds were so comfy and they even called in for a special hummingbird show every morning! Thank you Bransfields we can't wait to return to our home away from home!
