Our beautifully decorated unit at Tidewater sits directly on the beach and features all of the amenities you could ask for to go along with a perfect location close to many restaurants, night spots and attractions. Everything on your wish list! Invite the whole family! Up to six people can have vacation here! Our condo on the 12th floor has beautiful tiles, a fully stocked kitchen, granite countertops, and we also have a washer/dryer in the unit! Living Room has a 37 inch flat screen TV with a DVD Player, while master bedroom has a 32 inch flat screen TV with a DVD player as well. Master Bedroom has a King bed with dresser and mirror. The expansive balcony allows everyone to enjoy watching the dolphins in the early morning or the amazing sunsets views.

Better than pictured

Great condo. Was very clean upon arrival and the check in process was great. The beach was FANTASTIC and not a long trek from the condo to the water. The kitchen items are minimal, but we managed with what was available, no problem. Plenty of towels and linens and the hot water was great.

Nice and clean

The place was nice and clean. Great location. The wait for elevators in the building is ridiculous long. The mattress in the bedroom is extremely worn out and needs to be replaced.

Wonderful Stay

Condo was clean, stocked w/paper supplies & toiletry necessities. Nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. Not that I came to the beach to spend time in the room watching tv, but seating in the livingroom was not comfortable at all.

The condo was exactly what we needed for our Fall Break. The condo was comfortable and well stocked. Easy access to beach and other activities. Only issue was not with the condo itself, but the building operator and the hot tub was not heated very well.

We had issues with the sliding glass door being so hard to get open. The curtains on the door were falling down and it took two days to get someone to fix it. The room was not ready at 4 like it was supposed to be. We were stuck outside the room for over 30 minutes waiting for the room to get cleaned.

Family vacation

The only thing bad about this property was the elevator u had to wait over a hour just to even try to get on to do anything so we had to take the stairs a lot whew that killed my legs but we enjoyed ourselves other then that very friendly place

Great location

The condo was very nice and clean. Had extra toiletries if needed. We did bring our own just in case. Great location to other areas of town. Easy access to beach. Only downfall was the elevators. We had to very long waits for the elevator which is out of control of the condo owner. Would love to stay again!!

This unit is part of a 30 story complex. Although the unit itself is fine--bathrooms are awkward and small, but you will share the facility with 100s of other guests. You will share minimal working elevators, luggage carts, parking lot, and beach and pool space with many others waiting for the same amenities. There is also an additional charge for parking and use of the facility. The view from the balcony is beautiful, but often hard to enjoy because of the smokers--tobacco and weed, in other units.We might consider returning to Panama City Beach; the beach and location are lovely, but I will be careful to research the property with greater care.

Great location, great view of beach. Elevator for building is ridiculously slow. Master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space.

Wonderful

Our room was even prettier than the pictures. Pictures just did not do that condo justice. The area was perfect! It was within walking distance to Pier Park. The only thing I will say is the beach in front of the condo was a little crowded (totally has nothing to do with the owner of the condo). But if you want a good spot you gotta get out early in the morning or move further down the beach. But I took my teenage daughter and a few of her friends and we have all said we want to make this a tradition and come back next year! I dont even want to wait that long. Im ready to go back now.

Beautiful views, good price

Overall our stay was great. Tidewater is a great resort to stay at. You can’t beat the view from the balcony. The owner was great to work with and immediately responds to questions. The condo isn’t as updated as others we have stayed at but it had everything we needed. The refrigerator has an ice maker. We didn’t cook much but the kitchen seemed to have basic necessities. Having a washer and dryer was really nice. And two bathrooms! It had a few laundry and dishwasher pods for us to use. The beds were ok. The bedroom bed is very soft and squishy (and noisy). My teenagers said the bunk beds were comfortable. We didn’t use the pullout couch. It’s a small, old couch. The location is great. My family and I had a wonderful vacation. The condo had everything we needed and for a good price. I would recommend it!

Uncomfortable in little but important ways.

While it does look just like the picture, and the ad is a truthful description, I found it to be inaccurate. The positives: The view- beautiful. The common area setup (high stools and tables) plenty of space to play a game or eat. Ample outdoor space on the patio. And then the little inconveniences that made it uncomfortable. 1. This condo is right in front of the elevator. I mean literally the front door and bedroom window open to face the elevator bank. So, occupants are closed in a noisy box with very little privacy. 2. The bunk beds are in the hallway as expected, but again, the head of the bunk beds are literally in the front door and immediately outside the bedroom door. Zero privacy for anyone. And there was absolutely no place for any bunk bed guest to store their suitcases and clothes. 3. None of the four beds were comfortable at all. Not a single one. The most comfortable rest to be had is on the sofa (but don't pull it out.) 4. In the master bedroom there is one side table and lamp. For two adults this is inconvenient. In addition there was no place to plug up a phone near the bed. Like I said....little things that add up to uncomfortable. We ended up using a plant stand on one side of the bed. 5. The kitchen was well appointed but there was no dish soap provided (there were 2 packets of dishwasher soap but we actually used the kitchen so this was useless). Nor was there a can opener. We needed both. 6. There was one damaged beach chair and no beach towels or beach "toys". (Comparatively speaking when we stayed at splash there were 4 chairs, towels and 2 boogie boards). 7. The cleaning crew cleaned around and not thoroughly. There were deodorant caps, dirt and bobby pins in the space between the tub and sink in the bathroom. Filed under things that the owner can't control: The elevators are s-l-o-w. You will spend plenty of your vacation waiting. The indoor pool was closed for maintenance for key times during our stay. So it was ok for the budget. Nothing special. The ad was truthful....but.....maybe I need to adjust my expectations....

Tanya, Thank you for your review as these things help us improve the quality of our condo rental. I understand all the points, however it would have been helpful had you called or emailed us (we have our contact number, email id listed in our rental agreement) for some of the inconveniences caused during your stay and we could have resolved them right away. We could have worked with the cleaning crew if you felt they did not do a thorough job. Cleaning crews usually provide only dishwasher soap to the guests. No dish soap is included in the service and guests need to bring their own. On the end tables, the bedroom can only accommodate one end table, else it will be too crowded. There is a plug right behind the end table which is currently used for lamp and clock, and one of the two could be used for your phone. I would like to address each one of your comments as much as possible, but there are certain points beyond our control, like the unit being near elevator (in your opinion there was no privacy, but other guests have reported no issues on this before) and hence we apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. We try to do our best by mentioning important points about our condo in our advertisement, like Bunks being in the hallway, and the pictures show them clearly. A unit of our configuration in Tidewater resort has closet in master bedroom (shown in pictures) which is usually sufficient for all guests to keep their luggage. We could have possibly avoided all this confusion if you would have asked these questions before confirming your reservation. Also, we have a rental agreement on the website which is accepted by a guest while they book a reservation, and in that agreement, we have a point saying that we do not provide beach towels and that guests are advised to get their own, but probably you missed seeing that. So yes, small things that in your opinion were not convenient for you, but most of them seem to be something that could have been resolved if you had shared your expectations beforehand or they were not under our control. We are sorry that the beds were uncomfortable for you. About the can opener, we had one in our condo before, but it may have been misplaced, so glad that you brought it up! We have already put a new one in place for our future guests. Thank you, Sanjit.

Coming back

This property was hassle free. If we had questions beforehand, Sanjit was quick to respond. What we loved about the property is that it was family friendly. The furniture was not brand new and there wasn't anything breakable so we weren't stressed about our kids breaking or ruining anything. There were basic soaps to last the first day or so and roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, plate ware, and untincils, including a blender. There were coffee filters and salt and pepper. There were two sand buckets with shovels and two small sand nets. All other supplies needed to be purchased. All in all I hope we get to come back soon.

It is right on the beach and also is in close proximity to Pier Park where shopping, entertainment, restaurants and kids' playing park are all in one place.
