Nestled in the heart of Keswick, this well-equipped, cosy Lakeland retreat boasts picturesque views over Causey Pike and Walla Crag, shops, eateries and bars are close by and it’s within walking distance to Derwent Water.. All on the Second Floor:

Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washer Dryer

Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, 40" Smart TV Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds, 40" Smart TV

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Highchair.. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. This town centre apartment offers you space, comfort and views too. With two bedrooms, this second-floor apartment in what was once the Royal Oak Hotel, has a light and airy living space, dual aspect windows, boasting picturesque views over Walla Crag and Causey Pike, and a large bay window with the dining table. This is the perfect place to sit with a morning coffee and take in the fells or sit back after a day’s exploring on the very comfortable sofas and plan your evenings enjoyment. A well-appointed kitchen has everything you need, but with the popular town centre of Keswick right on your doorstep, you have so many places to choose to eat and drink, you might prefer to go out.There are two large bedrooms, the master double with a kingsize bed and en-suite shower room, or the twin room with separate bathroom, will give you a comfortable night’s sleep. The nearby private parking makes it easy to leave the car and stroll through the town with its wide selection of shops, coffee shops, and of course beautiful lakeside walks along Derwent Water. The Theatre by the Lake and the local cinema provide a popular evening’s entertainment, whilst a trip on the Keswick Launch gives you a stunning back drop of the surrounding fells, so remember to have your camera at the ready for those picture postcard views. Infamous for its choice of outdoor shops, you will find everything that you need whatever the weather, the beautifully manicured Hope Park Memorial Gardens, with mini golf and crazy golf are worth a try, and for something different, visit the indoor climbing wall, after a little tuition you could be ready to scale the many walls that are on offer. Beach 23½ miles. Shop 50 yards, pub 20 yards and restaurant 15 yards. Please be aware that Causey Pike apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is no lift. As such, the apartment is accessed via stairs.

Osprey (CC111395), Fellside (UK1011), Loft 10 (UK1107) and Causey Pike (UK10815) can be booked together to accommodate up to 16 guests.

Stayed for 4 nights.

Stayed for 4 nights. The apartment is located in the centre of Keswick which gave easy access to everything. The down side was that Costa Coffee which is next door, were doing a refurbishment and every morning we were woken at 5.00am - 5.30am to the sound of slamming van doors followed by the noise of their work until 7.00pm. This was despite the bedrooms having extra glazing. The apartment itself is spacious and well equipped with the beds being very comfortable. Very handy having your own allocated parking bay over the road which made luggage transfer easy as is having a lift in the building which stops outside your apartment.

We absolutely loved staying in Causey Pike.

We absolutely loved staying in Causey Pike. In the centre of Keswick, a stone's throw from pubs, cafes and restaurants. A stroll away from the Lake and although in the heart of this lovely town, never too noisy. Everything you could need has been thought of, even things not mentioned on the website are here (eg hairdryer, iron) and the beds were so comfortable. And it was where John Ruskin spent his honeymoon, so there's a historical aspect to the building too. We would more than happily return here.
