Nassau Court is an exclusive development built on the shoreline at Westward Ho!, with such a unique position it benefits from one of the most spectacular sea views in the South West. A full length balcony runs the length of the apartment to make the most of this exclusive location.

Westward Ho! offers an array of seaside amenities, quaint streets, colourful architecture and fascinating curiosity shops. The beach in front of the development is known as the Golden Bay, whilst the South West Coastal Path also runs through Westward Ho! – a must for keen cyclists and walkers - plus swimming, surfing, canoeing and fishing are all close by. The Tarka Trail is also in close proximity, providing the unique opportunity to follow a disused railway line amidst some of Devon’s finest countryside and scenery.

For visitors seeking a piece of Devon life then the towns of Barnstaple and Bideford provide the opportunity to wander during their weekly pannier markets with a host of local produce and crafts on offer.

The long balcony is ideal for soaking up the view on an evening and is covered even in heavy rain. Perfect location for all amenities. Quiet and very comfortable with outstanding views of the bay. Spotless Sun appears on the balcony till around 10am so cool if temperatures are high. Another visit to our favourite spot in North Devon. Been a few time’s now to Wow & noticed this time the resort is getting very developed. Seen a lot of changes over the years but it won’t stop us visiting our little gem on the edge of the sea. You just can’t beat listening to the waves crashing on the rocks as you drop off to sleep. We loved our stay - although be prepared .

We loved our stay - although be prepared ... this is right next to the sea and you can hear it day and night. To me it was soothing and I fell to sleep. Hubby, who is a light sleeper found it noisy! Local shops down near the front and not far away, back over the bridge there is a good Tesco's. Places to see - bit of a drive but well worth it - the Japanese Gardens and the Cornwall Aviation History which is found on a working airfield and the Gnome Reserve. Locally there is Appledore and a little down the road is Widemouth Bay. Plenty of walks, along the coast path and for those quick last night "walks" the building gives plenty of protection from the wind and rain. Although we came only with the dog, I would say this is a great place for those who love sea sports and the beach goes on for ever for those with children. Part of the beach not available to Dogs during the summer but we were here out of season so no issue to us. BUT best time was just sitting, French window open to listen to the sea, tides, wind, gulls and watching those brave souls in the sea pool!!!!! ENJOY YOUR STAY. To be honest the apartment could have been really basic and still have been wonderful due to it's location, straddling the rocks at the end of the mile long beach. However the property was lovely as well, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended

I can see why it’s called wow.

I can see why it’s called wow. When you walk into the lounge you say wow at the view.The location is fantastic, the views stunning. The beds were comfortable and the apartment well equipped. A very restful break.

A room with a view! Every room at WOW allows you to watch the weather across the sea.

A room with a view! Every room at WOW allows you to watch the weather across the sea. The apartment is of a high spec and very comfortable. Perfect base for exploring North Devon. Very dog friendly and to the left spectacular South West Coastal path ... to the right, following a 20 minute walk along promenade, a great dog friendly beach.

Accommodation very well laid out and presentable with great views.

Accommodation very well laid out and presentable with great views. If your a light sleeper probably not best for you as you can hear the waves crashing on the rocks all night even when all the windows are shut. There is also very little in Westward Ho! although there are lots of 'new builds' under construction the town centre is very disappointing quite run down and needs some investment. Also out of peak seasons a lot of attractions are closed i.e. local zoo's. wildlife parks etc. We didn't mind as happy to stay in and look out to see however, was left disappointed to be told the day before that during our stay maintenance work would be carried out on the balcony so we should expect workmen even if only for a brief period!
