This is a great place to practice social distancing ā€“ it is very private!

This cute, cozy waterfront vacation home features a private dock, sand beach and grass areas by waterā€™s edge. Spread out on 200 feet of Lake Frontage and relax. The crystal clear water of Lake Pend Oreille is great for swimming and boating. The fire pit, picnic table and beach chairs make it the perfect place to hang out all day and evening.

Thereā€™s also a large outdoor deck on front of cabin facing the water ā€“ enjoy the sunrises over the water and mountains with the southeastern exposure of this home.

The cozy cabin is our second home and it is very comfortable for one or two families. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs that can sleep up to 7-8. There is also a queen-sized futon downstairs that can sleep two.

The big living room and dining area (table expands to seat 10) are roomy and comfortable. The laundry room is good sized and right inside back door. The kitchen is small, but has all appliances (fridge, dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, compactor, coffee maker, and lots of dishes, pots and pans).

The cabin is a great place to relax, unwind, and have fun. It works great for one or two families on vacation at the lake!

Quiet, peaceful. Million dollar view every morning and evening. Deer and turkeys wandering around. Comfortable furnishings. And still close enough to get to sandpoint in about 35 minutes for restaurants, shopping. Just don't come in September, it's our favorite time to come. Wouldn't want the secret to get out.

Our family had a wonderful time at the lake house! The location is amazing. The dock and beach area are perfect for family fun. The deck has the best views! The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Dave & Linda are fantastic hosts. They are kind and easily accessible. You can tell they put a lot of thought into their home and the amenities they provide to make a family feel comfortable. We loved our stay and hope to visit again!

Our 3rd time renting this lovely home on the lake. Dave & Linda are the best hosts. Excellent communication with them before, during, and after our stay. The house comes with everything we needed. We hope to return next year!

Fun adventure

The cabin had a great view and tranquil setting. The neighbors were friendly. We enjoyed how clean and well stocked the cabin was. We sat around the firepit and roasted sā€™mores in the evenings. The owners were very responsive to an issue we had with the water. I would highly recommend this rental.

The Perfect Place

This holiday house is wonderful. The large deck with amazing views can't be beat. Nice to have a sandy beach for our toddler to play and also below the sea wall the water is out a bit so as to leave room to walk and play on the dry rocks or in the shallow water where the waves gently roll in. The dock is very long with seating and umbrella at the end to while away the hours. Room on one side of the dock to easily bring our kayaks up onto the grassy shore. The house was immaculately clean and well kept. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, spices, storage containers, plasticwrap, foil etc. Plenty of room for us to spread out but we all seemed to gather on the deck or dock. The area is quiet with friendly neighbors. Dave and Linda are the perfect hosts. They responded quickly to all questions that we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Beach

The property was amazing, especially the brand new dock, beautiful decks and beach. The main part of the home was very functional and was fantastic. We did notice a couple features that seem to be slightly misrepresented. The AC was not central air, but 2 window units upstairs, that struggled to keep up enough to ā€œflowā€ downstairs in the 95 degree weather. The ā€œbedroomā€ with 3 beds is actually a loft that you have to walk through to get to the upstairs bathroom and master bedroom. And the bunk bed has a window that looks directly from that loft into the master bedroom. Overall if was a fun spot!

Our second year staying at the Wilson's home and property for our annual (3-generation) family vacation. The Wilson's are great hosts, providing excellent communication before arrival and then upon arrival, making us all feel so very welcome. The young ones in our family range in age from 1 to 13 years old, and are most happy when they can spend the day swimming and playing in the lake. The adults enjoy the water, too, and having time to visit at this beautiful home and location. The home is very well-stocked with everything we needed for meal preparation. We like the fact that the home is a few miles out of town (Sandpoint). We typically make one trip into town during the week for groceries, have lunch, and a little shopping - which is fun; but very quickly, we can't wait to return to the home and jump in the lake! We are grateful to the Wilsons for the use of their home and property. We had a great time!

Really Nice!!

This lake house was wonderful! We enjoyed our stay very much. The place is very relaxing, very peaceful, very beautiful! Standing on the deck, looking out over the water, with the stars, the moon, the peacefulness ā€“ hard to describe. The interior is immaculate. Very tasteful, very comfortable, and clean. Almost everything was anticipated. Really thankful we could take the pup, too. He loved it. When you go, follow their instructions carefully. We found that Apple Maps did a good job, but Garmin did not. On our way in, we used Garmin and it was at night. Don't follow our example! :) My only quibble was that the door locks were electronic. I work in that industry and, believe me, you want a physical interior lock! Not that's there's much chance for crime there, but a swing bar, maybe? But, we loved the stay, and would definitely consider going back. Thanks, David!

Couldn't have been better

This place is the perfect lake house! We stayed a week at this cabin and spent the majority of our time on the beach and dock swimming and fishing. I would honestly book this house just for the beach, but the cabin was excellent, too. It was stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable. The deck is huge and has a ton of seating---great area to hang out after coming up from the beach. Another plus is how private and quiet the area is. Very relaxing. We did not want to leave! We hope to book it again.

Lovely cabin/home and beautiful location

We had an absolutely awesome family vacation at this home and property. Adults were able to disconnect, and kids were happiest when they were in or near the water. Lots of seating available on the beach - with some trees nearby to provide shade during our 90+ degree week. Dave & Linda are excellent hosts, providing a house that is cared for, clean, very well maintained and really had everything we needed. Communication with them was great - I had a couple of questions before our vacation and each time I received a prompt response. Dave & Linda have really thought of everything to make their guests stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I'll close with mentioning the absolutely stunning view of Lake Pend Oreille. I could have spent the whole week either on the house deck or dock soaking in all the natural beauty. Thank you, Dave & Linda, for sharing your home with our family.

This is a must location for those looking to sit back and relax. Nice home that is very well stocked, and in a gorgous location. Morning coffee to evening stories on the porch gazing out at natures beauty will be remembered for a lifetime. Add attentive hosts and you have a great vacation.

Amazing Lake Pend Oreille Property

We have stayed here three times now. Each time we stay the owner has made upgrades. This time there was new flooring, both bathrooms have been remodeled, the deck was enlarged and a host of other improvements to make our stay that much more enjoyable. This is on top of an amazing property already. Exceptionally long white sand beachfront on one of the best lakes in the northwest, recently upgraded dock, large lot with tons of privacy (not common with lake properties) and a secluded location that is easy access. This home and property have it all - lakefront, views and a great home to stay in while enjoying it all. Our family enjoyed our time here very much and look forward to returning in the future.

Superior Relaxation

The house was comfortable with ample accommodation for the four of us. main floor was relaxing with sitting space, dining and kitchen facilities and laundry. We were supplied with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The view over the lake from the house was delightful. There was plenty of safe walking. The neighbors were very friendly. Outdoor seating was comfortable with a variety of optionsā€”deck, deck dining, beach and dock. Having a boat dock and anchorage was super convenient. We were supported in our stay with detailed and timely communications from our hosts. We have stayed in several VRBO rentals. This one was the most relaxing of them all. The views from this property are incredible. Watch eagles and osprey soar and catch fish. The 200 feet of Lake Frontage is not common and allows room to spread out and have some peace and quiet. The crystal clear water of Lake Pend Oreille is great for swimming and boating. The fire pit, picnic table and beach chairs make it the perfect place to hang out all day and evening.
