2 BR house (sleeps 7) Dog friendly, walking distance to the mall & beach!

Private house right behind the Washington Inn. 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, living room and dining room. Master bedroom has queen size bed. Second bedroom has twin beds. In the closet, we have a fold up cot if you need one. There's even a pull out couch in the living room. Great for small families or couples. Wifi and smart TVs in both bedrooms and living room.

Outback is a nice private fenced in yard. Great for the pups so you don’t have to worry about them running away. There is an outside shower to rinse off the sand after a day at the beach. And you can relax and have dinner out back as there is a gas BBQ grill and an outdoor seating.

The rental was perfect for a weekend getaway! The house was neat anclean and we loved having a fenced in yard for our dog to enjoy. Location was great as well as it is only a short walk to the beach, downtown and a park!

Cute little cottage! Wonderful beachy decor. Our dog loved the fenced-in backyard. Close to Washington Street walking mall, and just a short drive to the beach. (Too much for my 87 year old mother-in-law to walk.)

Nice place for dogs!!

Great place to bring your dogs. Fenced in backyard was super nice. Beds were comfortable. A/C was awesome. The house was spotless when we arrived. Easy walk to shops/restaurants/ACME. Walking to beach worked best for us using a wagon for all our belongings. Would stay here again.

Great location

The location is close to town and a short walk to the beach. The house was very clean and has great yard to sit and relax and very nice if you have a pet.

Wonderful cottage in a great locerion

Our stay was wonderful. The cottage is clean, well decorated, and has everything you need! The fenced in yard was great for my dogs! I highly recommend!

Beautiful little cottage in town

Great little get-away cottage. Beautifully decorated, very clean with outdoor patio as private as can be had in the downtown district. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and beach. Dog-friendly with nice little back yard. We stayed in the 1 bedroom, not the 2 bedroom, but this was perfect. Recommend!

Nice weekend away

A nostalgic shore visit

The house brought back great memories for my Wife and I who both experienced this type of shore home. The house is located in an interesting and unique street not common at most Jersey shore towns it was a great trip. The house is impeccably clean and recently remodeled making the experience cozy and enjoyable. NJ Vaccarino, 1/5/2025.

Great Cape May Location

The house was very clean inside and well stocked with utensils, serving bowls, cups, glasses and plates. The location was excellent, close to beaches and Washington Mall, Historic District. Communication with host was excellent, we were unaware Cape May vacation rentals require guest to bring their own sheets and towels, but host quickly arranged for linen service delivery. Outside area could use power washing, but we were there off season end of September.

Cape May in September

Location was great. Just 2 short blocks to the Mall. Didn't drive anywhere for 4 days, just walked. There is no better place to walk at night than Cape May.

Not as presented

The outside of this property is nothing like the pictures. Grass is nonexistent and a good part of the yard is dirt. Fence is not safe for small dogs due to spaces under fence and hikes in side fence. Could not sit in outdoor furniture as it was sticky with sap from the trees. We have been renting in Cape May for over 25 years and this had to be the least equipped. First off if there is no dishwasher it should be noted since most houses these days have one. The listing noted there was a coffee maker which actually was a Keurig machine. The listing should have been clear about that since we brought ground coffee and filters which turned out useless. We had to go out and buy pops. Kitchen cabinets installed higher than normal which made it difficult to reach even the lowest shelf. Perhaps a step stool to help accommodate people. In all our years renting we have never experienced a home with such limited kitchen equipment. Limited glass ware. Found it strange that there wasn’t even a chip clip or a few leftover containers. Usually renting this late in the season items are typically left behind by previous renters such as baggies, plastic wrap, etc but nope nothing which seemed rather strange. Don’t even try to shower outside unless you want to flash the neighbors. If you are going the use a regular shower curtain on an outdoor shower perhaps figure out a way to secure it when windy. Driveway location bad. Contractors should up on our stay, not cool.

Great spot on a quiet street

The accommodation was clean and cozy on a quiet street within walking distance of downtown Cape May. To note, I rented during the shore's off-season so the street was very quiet and traffic was very light. This property comes with parking though which would make renting during the height of the season a breeze. I love that the space was dog-friendly. The yard was fenced in so I could let my dog run around safely and there was a nearby dog park, too. We had one minor issue and I reached out to the host. They immediately responded and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and their prompt communication made the entire experience seamless. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place.

Cute Cottage in Great Location

Great location

Location was great. Close to grocery store and all the restaurants / shops. Beach was a longer walk but very doable. The backyward was a decent size for the pups but musquitos were insane and not very usable by the humans ( my son got destroyed). The back sliding door was off track and they were quick to respond and brought a sliding screen door. That kept falling off track too but atleast kept the bugs out. The master bed was comfortable but the twins were not .

Great stay for the family

This place was perfect for our small family and pup. It was in walking distance to the mall and the beach and the area was very quaint and quiet. I would definitely return to this place. Kristen was very responsive and supportive of our needs.

Dog friendly budget stay

The property was clean and the hosts were incredibly responsive! Just a short walk from all of the highlights of Cape May, this was a great affordable option for folks with a pet! Just important to remember to bring your own towels and sheets!
