The Wells St House is 2 blocks from downtown Lake Geneva and the beach. Also 2 bedroom cottage on property available for rent, please inquire.

The address is 512 S. Wells St Lake Geneva, WI. The house and cottage have been short-term lodging for 20 years.
We have hosted many bachelorette and bachelor parties, family reunions, church retreats, ladies weekends and golf outings. We rent on a short-term basis, minimum 2 nights but sometimes 1 night is possible, please inquiry. This is a real business in the City of Lake Geneva. We have a business license under my legal name "Anthony Scalzitti", you can call the City of Lake Geneva business department to verify. We are regulated by the City of Lake Geneva. This is a licensed and legal Vacation rental. Most homes in Lake Geneva that rent for just 2-3 nights are not legal so be sure to ask the homeowner for the address and call the City of Lake Geneva building department and ask for Fred the building Inspector. No worries about complaints from neighbors over here or if you get a little loud. We have parking for 15 cars, boats and trailers welcome. I have been accepting personal checks for over 15 years.

Being a resort destination, I cannot automatically accept a Sat as a check-in, check-out date without paying the weekend rate. Special arrangements can be made so please call or email first.

1 acre property with plenty of room to spread out. If you or another guest decide to rent the additional cottage, it sits in the back of the property 150 feet away from the house with good separation for privacy. The cottage also has its own separate driveway.

The Wells St House has a fully equipped kitchen. Kitchen backdoor leads to enclosed outdoor private patio with propane grill (propane provided) with seating for 15.

1st floor master bedroom with king bed, extra twin and full bathroom with tub/shower.
2nd floor has 3 bedrooms. Master bedroom with queen bed and bathroom with shower. 3rd bedroom has 2 queens with hallway bathroom tub/shower. 4th bedroom has 2 queens with large private bathroom tub/shower.

Beds in total: 1 King, 5 Queens, 2 twins.

Central air conditioning throughout.

Enjoy the covered front porch and the private outdoor patio. You can gather on large lawn to play games or enjoy the big back yard. Plenty of room to play bags, catch, or even a mini-football game!
We provide all linens, blankets, pillows and towels for bathrooms. The house has Wi-Fi. Cable TV and DVD player.
The property is a perfect place to enjoy the outdoors in a clean and safe environment. So bring the family and friends and enjoy yourself.

Use of fireplace will result in loss of security deposit. Fireplace is locked and cannot be used.

NO PROM PARTIES. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Pets are not allowed because so many people have allergies today and we like to advertise a pet-free home.

REFUNDS ARE AVAILABLE

Please refer to the rental agreement for refunds.
Refunds are possible if I can re-rent the same time, terms and price with a small cancellation fee. You are reserving a house so please be sure.
We reserve the right to cancel instant booked reservations that depart on a Saturday, please inquire first, thank you.

The host and the property were great. They had all the amenities that you could ever need. We were there for a retreat and had an amazing time. There were no complaints at all. Everyone loved it. I would definitely book again.

Great Women’s Trip

Great location for 70 something women to explore the area. Easy to walk to lakeshore and downtown. Lots of room and huge table for games and cards into the evening.

Owner was great to work with

House is older, but in a great location. It has a King or Queen bed in each room which is hard to find. Everyone also had there own bathroom. Would stay again.

Girls Weekend Midweek

We planned a girls getaway in Lake Geneva. The house fit our needs really well and was fairly close to downtown. One major downfall was that it was on a pretty busy street. Lots of early morning (5:30 - 6:00) traffic noise. Property owner was very nice and answered emails very quickly.

Lots of space

The house is quite large and has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. It has a kitchen with fairly updated appliances. It is a short walk to catch a boat tour on Lake Geneva and a short walk to downtown. The beds were comfortable. The owner was quite responsive to all of my questions. would say the property does need some updating, especially the bathrooms.

Amazing Stay

This property was a beautiful place to celebrate a friends birthday with loved ones with so much space to stretch our legs. We had a great time, close to the downtown area, with amazing communication with our host. I highly recommend others to check this place out!

Triathlon Family Weekend

This home was perfect for us. Our family of 14 fit beautifully. Loved the idea of bedrooms having their own bathroom. The kitchen is new and well supplied with large cooking pans and enough dishes. We also used the large grill on patio. Loved the large patio with enough seating & tables for all of us. In fact, we had a "Music Jam Session" one night and it is such a spacious area around the home that I don't think we disturbed anyone. It's a perfect location to downtown Lake Geneva as you can walk downtown. We used the large yard for many outdoor activities. Tony was very accommodating by seeing to our every need. In fact, our 3 year old great-grandson from AZ needed a life vest. Tony supplied that for us. Several of the family wanted to fish and again Tony gave them suggestions. Sidebar: Our sons and grandsons all placed 1st in their division at the Lake Geneva Triathlon. We will highly recommend staying here. Another thing, you can rent for a weekend. Thanks, Tony. .

Great place close to the lake

We had a large family get together and the place was perfect. Tony is a great host- he was there when we arrived and showed us around and made sure we had his number in case we needed anything. Plenty of room for the 12 of us. Nice size bedrooms, updated bathrooms and a beautiful new kitchen that made meal prep a breeze. Great outdoor space also. Looking forward to our next visit!

Our family had a fabulously memorable experience at the Wells house!

Tony's house on Wells was a fabulous find for our family of 12. The house is clean and inviting. Lots of large windows allow light to come in, but, because the yard is wooded, it is very private. It is so lovely and calming! The beds, bedding, and furniture are extremely comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is a real bonus! The kitchen is roomy with a counter which we either sat around to eat breakfast or where we set up the food buffet style when we chose to eat on the large, comfortable patio or the dining room. The kitchen is equipped with every utensil, pot, pan, cookware, and dish a large group would need to prepare and enjoy meals together. Appliances are new. Towels and bathroom tissue are supplied in the bathrooms. The yard is large and lovely. We enjoyed s'mores by the fire pit, and played badminton and bags which we brought along. The outdoor porch was a wonderful place for us to gather with coffee in the mornings or conversation when taking a break throughout the day. The house is a couple of blocks walk to town and the beach. We truly enjoyed walking together with our children, their spouses,and the grandchildren. So memorable! Tony got back to us immediately when we had any questions. Just a couple of suggestions - There is not a door on the bathroom in the bedroom with one bed. Probably this should be added. Also, a washer and dryer would be a great convenience for the house occupants. We will definitely contact Tony to stay at the Wells house again when we return for another fantastic Lake Geneva vacation!

Awesome Property!

Had a great experience overall. Tony was very easy to communicate with in terms of quick and helpful responses. The place was great for our big group: tons of space, beds, and had more than enough cookware to make breakfast each morning. Location was great too - close to Grand Geneva and very close to downtown. When I'm in Lake Geneva again I'll definitely rent from Tony again!

Wonderful Property for Fun Girls Weekend Getaway!

We rented The Nautical for a "girls weekend" to Lake Geneva in early December. There were 13 of us staying at the property. The house was plenty large for our group and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. The home was clean and really fit our needs completely. The location was IDEAL! Even in December, the home was a walkable distance to the main street in Lake Geneva - and was a quick, inexpensive Uber ride later in the evening when it was a bit too cold to walk. Tony was absolutely delightful to work with...responsive, accommodating and just overall kind. We intend to make our girls trip an annual occurrence and will most definitely work with Tony for our rental needs the next time we visit Lake Geneva.

We stayed in this wonderful home and beautiful cottage for a Girls weekend with my closet friends/family celebrating Birthdays & New Marriage the homes were lovey very clean the Amenities were great...plenty of room everyone was comfortable 16 women so all the extra bathroom space & bedding was a plus. There is a great table for all of us to enjoy food and laughter a nice patio area that we enjoyed cause amazingly the weather was beautiful for this time of the year. Tony texted to make sure we arrived and to make sure we had everything we needed which was a major plus for me.. The location was Awesome everything we wanted & needed right at our fingertips we dance laughed and didn’t have to worry about the neighbors we will definitely be back real soon.

Great group home

This house was perfect for a group of 14 people. Not only did everyone have enough space but the property was huge. In the back they have an awesome cooking area where we all grilled out and then after we went deep back into the yard and had a fire and played bags. This house is in s perfect location. We walked down the street to the downtown area and did a little bar hopping. If you are staying with a group it's tough to find a better home and location. The owner was always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. I'll be renting again and highly recommend it

Great house in a great location

I hosted a bachelorette party at the house and everything was perfect - the house had a lot of character and plenty of space, the outdoor patio was lovely, and we couldn't have asked for a better location. I also appreciated the excellent communication from the owner.

Huge Yard for large groups. The house is only 2 blocks to downtown Lake Geneva, easy walk to shops, restaurants and beach. There is also a separate cottage in the back available to rent.

The house is private one acre property. This property is unique because of the private cottage in the back that can be rented together or separately. When there are separate guests staying in each dwelling, there is good separation between them, each with their own driveway, private yard space and firepits.
